Cool reaction once more, there can be no fake reaction to Diana because it is impossible to stay sane after listening to her voice so keep it up, she will question your music knowledge again and again and again because what she does none else dares to do or even can replicate. No one is going to give you hate about comparing her to Dimash because you will not be the first, most people already say that she is the female equivalent to his talent and many even consider her above him. As for octaves just you wait because what you heard from her till now is nowhere near her limits both low and high, she can go from the bottom of the sea straight to space and everywhere in between. I have suggested this to many reactors before, if you can not follow the lyrics of the song just enjoy it for the reaction and then you can see it once more of screen for the lyrics., lastly you can cut strait up to your final thoughts knowing the lyrics etc, it will not take you more than 3 minutes and it is worth it.

The judges were as entranced by her as you and I, so they forgot to press the button. They thaught the song endet and so they hurried up to advance her. The show was "You are super" and was made extra for underprivileged children. Diana was abused by her mother and was found 3 at 3 year old in winter shivering at a busstation in her nighty with a broken collarbone and was braught to an orphanage. She could not speak and had a hefty stutter. The lady is her adoptiv mother. For the stutter she got singing therapy and the rest is history. greetings from Germany

Brief Diana bio : Diana was abused & abandoned as a child and raised for a while in a Russian orphanage......her adoptive Mum provided voice & singing lessons to help Diana with the trauma.....Diana is a natural Contralto which, as you know, is the lowest female vocalist's register....she is also polyphonic (able to produce multiple notes or tones simultaneously)......this performance alone should make us all recognize and appreciate the talent of performers from the "world music" genre....thanks for reacting !........& thanks to @GennadiyVoronov (see his comments) for the synopsis of "Rechenka"......

Call it whatever you want, skills or talent, the fact is that Diana belongs to a very tiny group of people that really understands music. Not only that she understands music, her performance on stage is fearless as well. Diana won that year's competition at 14 years old. She was invited back the following year for an encore performance and ended up winning that second year in a row, too. You may have heard Rag 'n' Bone Man do "Human." She does a cover of it at 15 years old that is spectacular which is also from this same show (You Are Super) but in the next season. She really stresses her beautiful and unique low/dark timber in this cover. This was the third of the four performances that Diana gave, at the age of 14, on the 2018 TV contest "You are Super." All four performances are absolutely stunning. After the fourth - a performance of the song "Tomorrow is a Lie" that Igor Krutoy (of Dimash fame) wrote for Lara Fabian, with Igor himself accompanying her on piano - Igor announced on stage that he would buy her a flat in Moscow so that she could move there to study at an elite music school, and Lara Fabian bought the full copyright of the song from Igor with the result that Diana has never been able to perform it again. These facts are a testament to how extraordinary she was and is (now that she is 21).

Physically Diana is 14 yes mentally however she is an old soul as you will become to learn this of her she is extraordinary smart and as I mentioned once before you need to do just a little bit of background research watch a documentary or a interview of her of her childhood because by doing so you will understand where she gets the passion and drive in her performances and you have simply touched the tip of the iceberg with her she has so many many many many many many more performances and each one of them are so unique in their own way you will discover she never disappoints with something shocking and new and in case you haven't been told you also discover in her background research she started singing at 6 years old in competitions and shows and she has a great sense of humor as you will discover if you want a taste of that humor she does a performance of. Havana that she recorded in her bedroom it's just adorable your family member would love that one as well I guarantee it

The song "Rechenka" (affectionate from the word "river") is a Russian folk ritual wedding song. There is a version that this song appeared before Christianity, and since early Christianity and paganism were closely intertwined, there are many versions of this song. It tells how an orphan girl comes to the river and prays to the spirits of nature. The song is about how my mother, father and brothers were killed by enemies, there is no one to take care of her. The river in Ancient Russia was considered the border between the world of the living and the dead. You hear an ominous whisper, it's the spirit of her late mother responding to the girl's crying. There are about 30 variants of this song, but the content of each of the variants is based on the sad appeals of the orphan bride to her deceased parents, asking them for "blessings" and help for marriage, for family, to strangers. There are other versions of this song, where the heroine appeals to her brothers and even to her parents with a call to return to earth in the form of a bird to her native home. At the end of the song, the girl sails away to a strange tribe, to a strange family. The roots of the song go back to ancient Russia, it is a very, very ancient folk folklore.

It is a Russian traditional song and she is an orphan girl waiting at the river to be brought to a forced wedding and an uncertain future. And the river is her only friend. She is a contra alt and can sing as low as you hear without tricks. And you indeed see her adoptive mother, who took her in as a 5 year old; ill treated ,with problems. You have her first name right but where most English speakers get stuck is the last name as they are unfamiliar syllable combinations to our ears and all we recognize is the "Nova"and emphasize that, but the emphasis is on the "DEE" in her her last name so it runs; An-ku-DEE-nova with the 'nova' being almost a little clipped. There are many great singers and performers but Diana and Dimash are really a new paradigm in performance. For example who really gives a damn about Taylor Swift oustide of the USA and all the hype around her? Dimash and Diana's fanbase is absolutely international and has grown organically whats more the age range is from teenagers to pensioners!!! I would suspect that their audiences are more on the mature side perhaps because of more life experience and depth or perhaps younger minds are infected with 'industry music' and genre stereotypes, who knows?
