YOU ARE GETTING BETTER, AND BETTER ON WHAT YOU BRING TO US OUTSIDE OF THE KZbin WORLD. I FOUND MY SELF LEAVING MY OTHER FAVORITE YOU TUBE SAX PLAYER, AND YOU KNOW THEM ALL LOL. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU, AND SHARING YOUR GIFT.

Thanks for this class Scott. I am from Central America. There are hardly any Jazz schools in Costa Rica. It is a great blessing to see this class on KZbin

I watched this again, this time with my sax. I particularly like the way you break it up into small, manageable and understandable steps.

Thanks Jay Cee! I try and break it down so it all makes sense and is easy to follow. If you like that style of teaching, you should check out my Sax School - I do that on every tune in the improv section, so it's really easy to understand how to get from one chord to the next. Here's the link if you want to check it out: www.scottpaddocksaxschool.com

Your lessons are fantastic, Scott, and I'm not even a sax player (guitar/trumpet). Thanks for sharing this information with us. 😀

Check out my Sax School! I'll help you solve those problems in the Improv Course. I've received so many emails and messages like yours over the years and every time they sign up, I get a message month or 2 later telling me how much progress they've made. I do not play Jazz on the saxophone. I play Blues on the harmonica. Recently, I’ve been focusing on phrasing. This video was suggested by KZbin. Great lesson. I do believe that what you teach here for Jazz on the sax can be applied to Blues on the harmonica.

Yeah, absolutely! Improv is improv no matter what the instrument is.
