Just trying to make a buck off of the people looking for information on the recent tornadoes and the heartbreak and destruction they caused. Personally I think it is a dick move to re-upload an old video just to try and make a few bucks during a time of incredible heartbreak for the people who have lost so much. True class act, really.

@@RedneckHillbillyGnR ok thats a bit disingenuous. Anyone experiencing heartache over a tornado is not likely to be searching for tornado videos to watch. People curious about tornadoes or wanting to see one will be searching. On top of that, there are tornadoes all the time so do people need to make sure they don't put their videos out after any new tornado? Or just the ones that bother you?

The absolute BEST footage of an "Up close Tornado" on KZbin or anywhere else.. I admire your bravery, these things are beautiful, violent and incredibly dangerous at the same time, the sound alone is nightmare inducing and you managed to capture every facet of Twister in 7 minutes.. 50 feet from the Volvo and the guy gets out !!!?? I’m just learning the mechanics behind tornados but this seems to be one of the most defined / well organized ones I’ve seen. The wall between the low pressure air(?) and the inflow jet is so pronounced and well-separated here. Maybe I mixed something up there but either way, what a beautiful tornado (and terrific footage of it). Thanks for doing what you do to bring us this!

This may be the best tornado footage ever taken for research purposes. Possibly unlocking some of the mysteries surrounding how tornados form and perpetuate themselves. A lot of physics going on right there.

I have no idea how you have that much courage to stay so close even when the only escape are the tiny few roads around you so of course the tornado can hit you from any direction, but you cant escape fast in any direction you want or is safe.. Great images.

Actually, the Quad-State Tornado, from just a few days ago, lasted 4 continuous hours on the ground. It traveled a total of 227 miles at a staggering 55 miles per hour, killing over 100 people. This was an EF5 tornado with winds topping 205mph (the minimum wind speed for an EF5 is 200+mph). Still, radar indicated debris was lofted over 30,000 feet and actually carried some of that debris over 100 miles away. Again, this barely broke the barrier from EF4 into an EF5... monster EF5's can debark trees & even pull the pavement from highways. With that said, most tornado's move at a much slower pace, around 10 mph, and are far less powerful with winds around 100mph.
