23:30 Sound Devices is know more for the film and video production space. But these are really high end gear that's usually built for the beating in various conditions. I've know about their multitrack recorders for film. Very solid build, it's virtually weather proof. Very high sample rates with one of the best preamps. In my sound design experience, I've only mixed one production where the sound guy used Sound Devices. Commonly, it's Zoom or Tascam. I never knew they made wireless devices for instruments.

Yup, just so much to see and to image how small a snapshot even this lineup must have represented vs the totality of the show. Living up here in Canada I've never been to NAMM, but it must feel almost surreal. I'm starting to lock down my setup and close to where I think I want to be for my portable full-show production setup. Hope to be able to share that later. Yeah man, being there was Christmas for sure! And yes, the M2 is truly incredible. Fully digital and so many channels in a compact space. Really brilliant. And yes the AT is my main one I use in my IEM rack. If I do not bring my IEM rack to a gig, I’ll bring my portable sennheiser one just because it’s portable. But the AT is my favorite one so far

Hi Scott! I’m just learning about your channel and am blown away! Amazing work. Can I get your recommendation on a foot controlled vocal processor? I run my saxophones (soprano, alto, tenor, bari) through the Boss VE-500 for EQ/Verb/Chorus/Delay and some octave doubling for a sax-section effect however, the doubling tracking is not amazing. Cool stuff. The In Earz HELYES has been on NAMM since last year, but I’ve never seen a review yet. The XVive PX monitor mixer looks interesting, but personally I’ve been looking for something compact that can mix two stereo signals.

And I would like to suggest, for this kind of video, where you are in a lot of changing light conditions and filming lots of screens, that you used a camera body with easily adjustable shuttered speed and controls. But, I will still watch a videos even if you keep using the gopro, Scott! Mostly, I appreciate your content!

@@ScottUhlMusic ok… I have seen other utubes on it.. but getting down to the nitty gritty,… I noticed there is a panic button to reset audio quickly that I just discovered …when the audio drops out at times… still don’t know if it is Mac related or Focusrite related.. I think tech support is tired of hearing from me… Just an FYI if you dig into it.. I can’t go live until I feel 99.9% confident with it…✌️🎼❤️
