mike brink those were cordless phone conversations the scanners were picking up, not cell phones.
@sparkynomor11004 жыл бұрын
mike brink what you describe was in the early days of cell phones when they used analog signals. A police scanner could indeed pick up those conversations. The technology soon after switched to digital transmission which was encrypted solving the “eavesdropping” issues. The latest cordless phones also use digital/encrypted signals to avoid being listened to by your neighbors. Police using Stingray equipment can actually listen to cell phones to this day although the cost of the equipment necessary to do so is very high.

When I initially purchased my car, he said that there was an issue with the engine but when he put the electronic tool to check the car, it was nearly clear of any faults. That was in 1982 and I sold it to a friend's dad for his daughter for $750. The drove my baby for about three years and then I bought it back from her for $300 and it kept going and going. Love you Channel. It works because it has a cassette deck head attached to the cassette itself and it's pressed up against the cassette head inside the car. So instead of receiving the magnetic data from a tape, the head on the adapter is adapted to transmit magnetic signals which the car's cassette head picks up.

Another informative video. You're absolutely right about using a "headphone" wire assuming your car stereo has the input jack (not all cars or phones do). Another good reason for the wire is that you're not broadcasting everything from your phone to anybody nearby with an FM receiver. You're not right about 4 inches between transmitter & receiver because it's the car's antenna you need to transmit to.

Or you can simply get a casset to aux adapter. Boom it’s like 5$ from Walmart. Works like a charm and a lot more simple than connecting to a radio station. Also I noticed personally that with the cassette to aux it has better sound quality than the static radio connection

Scotty, regarding the "2 wireless systems" issue, they are on 2 *completely* different frequencies. They wont interfere with each other.

Yes but the fidelity. Did you ever stop to consider the fidelity?

I've had several of those transmitters over the past few years, they work in some vehicles, but not so well in others. They don't seem to like cars with the radio antenna in the rear glass. (Won't work in my Crown Vic or Lincoln Towncar, but works great in my trucks. Won't work in my '06 Hyundai Santa Fe. I've tried about 5 or 6 different versions of transmitters. They all seem to do about the same thing and if one won't work in a particular car, the others won't either. On my Crown Vic and Lincoln T/C, the transmitter will work better if I plug it into a rear seat cigar lighter socket, closer to the actual radio antenna but the sound is weak and full of interference no matter what. On my '03 and '04 Ford trucks, they work perfect.

Bought a cd changer emulating bt-module for my 2007 Toyota. It plugged to the cd changer connector behind oem-player. Works flawlessly and cost under 40 euros.

Pengacara Daun Muda Probably the best thing about this video is imagining Scotty cruising around listening to Tai Chi music while yelling REV UP YOUR ENGINES!!!!, isn’t it? 😂😂😂😂😂

I don't touch the radio my cd player doesn"t work, so I"ve been just listening to my car motor for years lol. I don't know how electrics or technology work, but now i learn't about technology. Thank you I"ll do it the Scotty way.
