What with all these turbo engines coming out. You buy an overpriced new car that falls apart sooner than you can pay it off with interest. About 20 years ago, I read the craziest story about Ford and their duplicating keys issue: A family went to a mall in their Ford. A different family also went to the same mall, in an identical-looking Ford. And apparently they parked pretty close to where the first family had parked. Coming out of the shops, the first family mistook their car for the second family’s car, and their key actually worked in it. So they got in and drove off. At the same time, the second family came out of the shops, went to what they thought was their Ford, and their key also worked, so they got in and drove off. Perhaps the two families realized they were driving the wrong cars and perhaps this caused them some confusion, because something caused them to not pay attention to the road, and the two families ended up getting into an accident with each other at the exit of the mall parking lot! And that’s how they both found their original cars! One of those just weird coincidence stories you sometimes run into.
