Welding some steel tubing around the edge of that cut would make it look finished, strengthen that area, and keep your bag from ever touching an edge...

My cups has an angle to keep the bag from bowing out when it goes up I just don't know if towards the outside or towards the inside

@@ScottysDetailing thanks for getting back to me I appreciate it. Just was wondering if a kit like you installed would work on a 78 firebird subframe. I have a 55 GMC truck and just got a subframe for it and I would love to put it on the ground. Never messed around with air bags before but willing to try anything. Have not seen any videos of anyone bagging a firebird/ Camaro front clip. Got any suggestions

@@IronheadGarage I'll help you out man. 35 years of air ride experience. Look into square body S10s, like 1982 to 1993, I'm not saying all the parts interchange but the frame and suspension designs are super close, and you should be able to find TONS of S10 videos. I've clipped several old hotrods through the years and when the world kinda ran dry of junkyard Camaro and Trans Am subframes I started using firewall forwards section of S10's.
