Finally tried the Scott’s canned lobster. The stuff was freaking awesome IMHO. Taste wise pretty much like eating regular lobster. Texture wasn’t bad. It’s expensive at $10 buckaroo’s per can but if your jonesing bad for lobster this will certainly satisfy that itch until you can get the real deal. I’d buy this again, try and catch a deal. Mission accomplished, Horizons Expanded

The optimum cooking temp for lobster 🦞 is 140F/60C, yet safe canning temp for seafood is 240F/115C. So you can see how over-cooking is inevitable.

i tried the scout canned lobster. my particular can had a lot of small shell fragments in it. tasted good ill try another can but if that one has all the pieces of shell i wont buy it any more. i did email the scout company and told them my experience but i haven't heard from them in response yet....peace out

Opening the can @ 7:20 reveals a lame amount of lobster. It doesn't fill the bottom of the tin! There's room for the other claw. For 11 bucks one would think the portion would fill the container just as much as dines do.

I would eat imitation lobster if they would not put the extract of lobster in it. Same as the imitation crab meat ... I love the cocktail sauce with it. But I can't find any without the extract. I just don't eat any shellfish. But still, I enjoy your videos. Thanks, Matthew.
