At the end hes whole goal is to let the universe heal and make it a better place. That end is why he becomes everything he hates in the foundation head. His best bet to fight the evil he thinks the scp is, is actually the admin and the best he can do that is him doing that as the eco head as thats the best position to do so and since he killed the last one hes the only one that can do it. To destroy the scp Foundation is to destroy the resistance pretty much what he thought he was doing. There will always be someone to rise up against the foundation just like his friend and hell be killed by soemone more determined no matter how impossible and that persons motives that made him do that will be the same thing that makes him be the new 501. on top of that the whole cycle could be undone if the dude simply pressed the button or, even better, killed himself, breaking the cycle and leaving no one to be O5-1 breaking the cycle indefinitely, heck I'm sure if he pressed the button he would die as well, it's so contradictory to the story development of the character, there was nothing really giving him the idea that he could be the next O5-1, no sense of temptation, no development, it just disregards who he is and the sacrifices made simply for the sake of subverting expectations, it's like making Danny from GOT go mad for madness sake but at least in GOT there were hints to it happening, references made and a minor amount of development towards that, but it was still forced and done entirely wrong, throughout the show Danny never hurt civilians, she only went after the people responsible, yet this one time she's like, nah fuck that, even though she had the opportunity to just go after the one person in charge. Character decisions not based on development are terrible decisions forced by the writer.

You see, this is the writing of Djkaktus. His writing feels mostly like they are written by a 15 year old and he spends a egregious amount of time on any story. The reason why people love said stories is because they are long, so they must be written well. SCP-6666 is one of his many really long articles like everything else he does nowadays. Long, boring, shallow, and stupid. At least 6500 has an interesting premise- 6666 is just whatever it is. Katkus loses sight of how to write a story. He basically manages to make the scp foundation a evil reality warping group that has manipulated existence, makes sure the killsquad gets every single chance to bullshit their way out of things that would be impossible to survive in, stupid shit happens like the american riding 682 into battle (that’s just fucking retarded lol), and so forth. There are insane amount of contradictory statements and parts in a single chapter, and most of the assassinations are the same. It’s not just the video, because the video accurately represents what happens in the series in a shortened manner. The worst part is that the way it ends doesn’t even line up with the other 3 parts. Part 1, Part 2, and I guess part 3 manage to line itself into one cohesive fashion, but then part 4 is just some chaos insurgency jerkoff fest and “oh how much can i make the foundation evil”? He barely even makes them evil, by the way. They just show some instances of the council abusing their power a bit and a few are a bit screwed in the head, but that’s it. His stories are long and frankly pretentious. I believed his stories were good because.. Wala! Presentation! But they’re long, exhausting, and very shallow.

If you want to contain anomalies, then creating a naked singularity is extremely counterproductive, as a naked singularity would tear the laws of physics apart.

Imagine Ouroboros as a nine film series. In its make are segments being the first three films, the second three films, and the third three films, obeying the narrative formula of "a trilogy series" across "The Hero's Journey". The problem with Ouroboros however is its inherent agency of self-destruction, for much like its living animal counterpart, that when a snake swallows its own tail it digests itself while still alive. Now imagine that this snake was venomous and with magical properties, that upon an eventual and agonizing death its post-mortem spasms envenomate its body, a feat of necromancy whereby the head of the snake is the now lost third three films, continues to now consume the second three films of its own body length. We're now at a point where the first three films is Yin and Yang to the last three films, a smaller journey trapped like a donut encased by the ever-reviving bite of the last three films, peppered in gastric juices of a disembodied second three films. This is the analogy of SCP anomalies randomly appearing out-of-place within humble beginnings while simultaneously are as black horses to an even-present state of near-apocalypse, that the looping of a simple start towards a simple ending miraculously back again without further growth, is encased by an absolute chaos incarnate to which it seems hapless but to avoid it by some fluke of continuity? The real trouble, the real horror of the Ouroboros Cycle, is only ever really known when the head of the snake will finally consume the first three films of its body length, dissolving itself into an immortal head of eldritch twitching. Desperate to bite anything it can, for when the hand that reaches for its mysteries finally does, as do the greatest authors of our time, the envenomation of reality courses through their veins of the now newly transformed serpent, that then and only then do we glimpse the tenth film that only a literary God could see, depicting what can only be described as "the tragedy of the serpent".

I’ve got a new scp idea that’s about how either one of the Ouroboros cycle or scp 5000 came first and they had to make the other one to balance out the sheer complexity and length.

But how is there an administrator if he got disintegrated by The Children, to recruit Calvin at the end of the How It Ends story? Are they the same universe and time line? And if 05-01 ran off after abusing the power of The Children, then how and when did Aaron become 05-1? Did the previous 05-1 who created The Children become the new Administrator who recruited Aaron and subsequently Calvin? I think The Administrator needs his own deep dive video

@@shadowsa2b Yes, but it covers everything about the ouroboros cycle, something that the videos from scp explained doesn’t. Some of the important things they have skipped is that Anthony in reality is another person that is very important to the story, but i don’t think he even is mentioned here. They have also skipt a huge amount of lore and they have modified the dialog beyond recognition.

This is a very late comment but on my second watch I realised something. So that chaos dude (the one with the scar) who supposedly drank that immortality juice thing died halfway through. Due to the ouroborus cycle, I assume he was on the previous mission to kill the 05 council but remember the dude who got shot during 05-2's assassination? Well before he was removed from the story, he was given the immortality juice so I think the scar dude went through the same experience as the guy who got shot but on the previous mission. That means the dude who was shot will become scar dude in the next part of the ouroborus cycle!

The Ouroboros Cycle reminds me of the seying in the wheel of time books “The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose above the great mountainous island of Tremalking. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”

Atonement seemed like a setup for the Prisoner's Dilemma, but instead it was just a bunch of O5's agreeing to unleash an extremely powerful being because it might make their paperwork easier. Here's the problem: If there's a multiverse, and it's possible for something in one universe to delete *every* other universe en masse, then it stands to reason that there are multiple universes where such a being can exist. If even *one* of them takes the deal, then every other universe is eliminated. Then there are only three possibilities: 1. Such a scale of destruction is impossible. 2. Destruction is possible, but no universe has taken the deal. 3. "Our" universe is the first one to create such a capability. #3 seems like an extremely unlikely possibility; if "Our" universe experienced any delays in developing such a capability (which it did), then it stands to reason that there those delays didn't happen, and the capability was developed faster. #2 seems a little more likely, but still depends on every other universe acting rationally. SCP-5000 is a good illustration of how quickly that can turn on its head. Which means that the only realistic option is #1: the entity is lying. Therefore, don't release the damn thing.
@2miligrams2 жыл бұрын
ok so basically what i've gathered from every part of the scp foundation as a whole is that there will always be suffering an endless loop in multiple ways until there isnt, that's when nothing is everything and everything is nothing, the multiverse disappears to re-emerge to cycle through the pain once again.
@godzillatoons39473 жыл бұрын
I think the entity that was Calvin Desmond knew that SCP-2317 would escape, so it was trying to destroy its reality as well as other deadly anomalies's realities while it's at it.
