SCP-2183 - The Ride Never Ends (SCP Animation)

SCP 2183 is a Safe Class anomaly also known as The Ride Never Ends.
SCP-2183 is an unfinished roller coaster located in Idaho. SCP-2183 's physical portion features a maximum height of 37.2 m and a maximum speed of 88.5 km/h. SCP2183 also features a physical track length of 798.8 m, after which it abruptly ends. Carts of SCP-2183 that reach the end of the track travel on a set path in midair, presumably simulating the unfinished portion of SCP-2183.

When I was in a small roller coaster called "the double loop" as a teen in the 1980s, I forget the amusement park, my harness unlocked. I don't know what magic stopped me from falling out of the coaster and I bounced around like a cartoon character on one of those comical cartoon bouncy cars. My dad was comped the entry fee on top of us getting more credits and tickets than we could use for the rest of the day. All we had to do was keep quiet about why they shut down the roller coaster. I did lots of very dangerous high-risk things since then, I was still young and foolhardy. However, I never even stepped into the line of another roller coaster ever again. I have since been in situations that I've even been shot at and been in three car wrecks, one where the car tumbled... and none of those times made me feel like my life was as in danger as it was back in that roller coaster. It was even less scary when I was riding in a home-built ultralight (essentially a flying go-cart) that had engine failure that I by some miracle did a "forced landing"... basically, it crashed and came apart where I "landed" it... and I miraculously walked away... still not as scary as that roller coaster that almost chucked me. And no, I didn't built that ultralight. I trusted my neighbor's "redneck engineering" in that because it never had problems before I was in that seat. Well, not as bad as it was with me. With me, the engine never restarted like it did with other people. Some times it's not the build-up that is what makes it scary. So... admit it... you laughed at my traumatic memories. It's okay, I do it too now. There's nothing wrong with a dark sense of humor. And yes, some of the people who knew me my whole life comment on how great my luck is in saving my life despite how it sucks in literally all other ways. During one of my melt-downs, I honestly believed I was a fictional main character in a dark humor story. So... I know my life is dark humor gold. Did I make you laugh, giggle, or smile?

Fun fact: The recommended speed on an Autobahn is 130 km/h. the normal speed limit for driving outside of cities in Germany is 100km/h.

@@dermihandro In France it's 130km/h too (on our Autoroutes). And I was sure it even was faster on Autobahns in Germany, I don't know where I heard that. On most roads outside cities it used to be limited to 90km/h by default in France, but it changed to 80km/h some years ago.

@@bobiboulon 130 km/h is just what the government recommends as your speed maximum on the Autobahn. There are some parts without speed limits where you may drive as fast as traffic allows. Also some more dangerous parts of the Autobahn have speed limits of 120, 100, 80 or even 60 km/h.
