I always like SCP stories where the anomaly isn’t a blood thirst monster. And what could be better than your very own pet centipede.

I'm also not a fan of SCPs where it's like "a giant monster or an piece of technology that can destroy the whole world, timeline and all known universes and there's nothing you can do about it". For example, I mean, stuff like 682 (the lizard) and 001 proposition of When Day Breaks are cool but they are moreso exceptions to the rule because they are at least more unique in my opinion.

His intros into an SCP normally correlate to the discovery of the SCPs but if you go by the files that says 999 is the seventh son of the scarlet king destined to be the hero that would take his father down, that would mean 999 was born in the foundation by the seventh and final bride. Honestly, I would just use the crosstesting between 999 and his brother from the fourth bride 682 as the intro since 682 was already introduced. But I can see why some might be hesitant to use it as it’s redone-it by other SCP related KZbin channels when it becomes to 999 and 682

I feel incredibly bad for the Man losing Junior. Ethics comitee should ban the foundation from amnesticizing anyone who made friends with a harmless anomaly. Also, just gonna say that I am now going to headcanon that Junior's human friend is now brought in regularly to play with Junior. Class-B Amnestics is just too harsh a response, and studying the humans the centipedes have bonded with may also yield valuable insight into the SCP. After all, what is it that drew Junior to him in the first place? Was it a smell? The sound of his voice? Does the SCP have a sense of aesthetics? Does it choose its human based on personality traits it observes? Can a human attract multiple instances of SCP-3153? Are there humans the SCPs won't bond with? If two humans with instances of SCP-3153 interact, how do the SCPs interact with each other? Actually, isolating the SCP from its human companion... I understand the need for surveillance of the SCP, but as it has been proven safe for these things to interact with humans, I think release into a monitored home with its human companion could yield more research as well, particularly since you would have a dedicated human working 24/7 with the centipede and can report anything unusual or alarming to the Foundation. That's more research than the brief weekly interactions with D-Class personnel could possibly provide. These people already know about the SCP and are willing to interact with it and care for it on a regular basis - why not give them some sort of associate status and continue to employ them for further research? You could even use this to your advantage by having them expose the SCP to new stimuli as part of routine. These associate researchers wouldn't need to know about the other SCPs or the SCP foundation, they wouldn't need to know anything that compromises the SCP Foundation's security. Give them just enough information about the centipedes and the research questions, set up cameras and microphones in the house, and let these people do your work for you. This is a situation where the Foundation's over-reliance on amnestics and isolation is actually destroying valuable research opportunities.

Anybody else notice the exterminator is totally Dale Gribble from King of the Hill? 😂😂😂 That being said, after this dude has beat the hell out of this friendly centipede it still wants to be homies? Hell yea. I love it. Like it knows what it looks like and understands.

I absolutely hate bugs with a passion but if this thing wanted to be my friend and proves I'm not on the menue i wouldn't mind keeping it. Also nice references to Dale and Dale's Deadbug Exterminator from King of the Hill.
