Love this one. The fact they're born human and turn into these things is scary af. And the implication of the amnestic maybe turning you into one (at least partially? or maybe just mentally?) is terrifying, I didn't even realise it until my second read through of this one with the whole interview log at the end and the 'turn them into a bloodhound' line

Um no it doesn’t turn anyone into any instance of scp 939 mentally or physically, it is simply PTSD from the attack that makes them afraid of the colour red be it a coat of paint or a flashing light.

@@cpaul562 Between the fact 939 are born as human and the heavy implications throughout the article, I think there's meant to be room for interpretation about what exactly is going on with that amnestic's efffect. After all its, ya know, horror. Vagueness leaves room for spooks.

There's a lot of subtle connotations there that could hint at a lot of things. it doesnt matter what any of it actually means, its just the fact that there is wiggle room for the imagination that makes it good horror
