If he's got the amount of power mentioned in this video then there's no way 035 actually took him over. This is very obviously hinted at in the first video where it says it looked like 343 was "just going through the motions", meaning he's already aware of what the mask is, what it does, and so on. I highly doubt with that much power and that line in particular that any of this is actually happening and it's most likely a morality lesson for either the mask or the thief.

Truly I doubt that 035 could posses 343. I think 343 would be even more resistant to 035 than 682 was to Dr. Bright's amulet, the difference in power between the two is just too vast for 035 to overcome.

Why does everyone keep saying this? The foundation has not yet tested the extent of 035's possessive abilities. It might be extremely powerful in that regard, even more than 343 perhaps. Theres a reason for the mask, which cannot pgysically move, to be a keter class anomaly, the same class as the reptile who has to be contained in an acid tank and still scape, or an old man that can go through walls and has a dimension of his own. That mask is EXTREMELY powerful

In this case the Mask has never been shown to possess anything beyond the power of a regular human. As such there's a complete absence of evidence or precedence that it could possess 343, or anything else more powerful than a regular human for that matter.

Tbf this seems like the most logical scenario. We know for a fact that 343 only allows himself to be “contained” by the Foundation voluntarily - there is no possible way for them to contain him by force. He enjoys giving up any sense of control, hence why he doesn’t interfere in the running of the universe or human affairs even though he could easily solve all of the worlds problems with just a snap of his fingers. What better way for him to give up control completely than allowing 035 to completely take over control of his body and his seemingly boundless power and allowing the mask to do whatever it wants with it knowing he can take back control and undo everything on a whim if he wanted too?. For 035, it has hit the jackpot - taking control of an omnipotent, omniscient, all powerful deity with limitless power. For 343 this is probably just his chance to take a vacation.

I read an SCP wiki where the mask was originally a jester in an Italian court that had been sent to an alternate dimension. Then, due to reasons related to the Scarlet King, was ultimately sent back to this dimension inside the mask. The spirit inside spent so much time studying its prison within the mask that he had literally written the book used to create Dr. Bright's medallion.

We know it didn't work on 682, but it does work on some anomalies, and Jack understandably hates and fears Abel so one would think he would be all for trying to neutralize Abel. The other two wouldn't be as personal but they would be interesting.

It just seems illogical how it could happen. Surely the Foundation makes notes not to cross test certain anomalies together under any circumstances, thus it would mean making sure those certain anomalies aren't contained at the same place. Also is about faith and belief to be coordinated with intent and speaking with the being behind the mask in order to awaken it and put it back to the driver seat so to speak. I don't care if this would work or not, I just want to see it: In the list of things Dr. Bright is not allowed to do at the Foundation, one of the items states: "Dr. Bright is not in possession of any of the following:" and then lists a bunch of things. However, when it says "the Dragonzord", the term is crossed out and followed by "I don't care how you did it, put it BACK." This means that Dr. Bright in fact _does_ have the Dragonzord, and I think it'd be cool to have Bright pilot the Dragonzord to try to destroy 682. Monster vs. giant robot fights are always cool.
