SCP 914 is a Safe Class anomaly also known as The Clockworks.
SCP 035 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as The Possessive Mask.
SCP-914 is a large clockwork device weighing several tons and covering an area of eighteen square meters, consisting of screw drives, belts, pulleys, gears, springs and other clockwork.
When an object is placed in the Intake Booth, a door slides shut, and a small bell sounds. If the knob is turned to any position and the key wound up, SCP914 will “refine” the object in the booth.
SCP-035 is an anomaly also known as The Possessive Mask. SCP035 appears to be a white porcelain comedy mask, although, at times, it will change to tragedy. In these events, all existing visual records, such as photographs, video footage, even illustrations, of SCP 035 automatically change to reflect its new appearance.

Bet they will just go full Disney style and "somehow 999 defeated the mask again". 682 would probably just start absorbing all telekinetic power coming out of the mask and would be able to firstly match it, then as the mask gave it even more fuel - change mask into puddle - then there would be 682 XK scenario. As for 343 - The list is too long on how mask could've been stopped and idea of 343 charging power to defeat mask is just wrong, mask would just cease to exist or return to it's original state quicker than millisecond pulsar rotates.

I think this is what really happened: when the lights went out and 343 disappeared, in reality it was the mask that had been transported into another reality with no one there, not even 343. He thought he'd won, but as he strolled around he realized no one else was there. He realized that he had not defeated God at all- he'd lost.

In some versions it turns out just like this. In some versions 343 takes the mask down. Hell, I’m willing to bet there’s a universe out there where they take a seat and just have a pleasant chat over some ice cream cake. That’s one reason why I love these SCP Explained videos. Any scp can be replaced if it becomes unpopular enough, that's how the site works. It's not official as in there isn't some legal entity dedicated to maintaining the rules and continuity of the scp. All tales are made by fans and either accepted or rejected by fans, no one tale is more canon than the other despite the fact that most contradict each other in irreconcilable ways.

Alternative Ending (In my opinion the most realistic ending): As 035 laugh at how he turned the great beast known as 682 into some small reptile he immediately turn his back on the SCP and walk away. But right after he took his eyes off of 682 without caring, he suddenly felt a huge amount pain coming from right leg. Without a moment to respond and see what could’ve done this he was immediately thrown against the wall with such force he didn’t realize he lose a limb. As 035 scream in pain from the lost of his right leg, he then realize who his attacker was none other than Indestructible Reptile. In rage that 682 would dare attack him, he then decided to turn 682 into the size of a molecule, but as 035 snaps his fingers, nothing happen, 035 both in shock and rage that nothing happen attempts to continue believing that he could still win this fight, but in the end it was pointless, 682 roar and charge right at 035 tearing the mask’s new body limb from limb leaving 035 as nothing but as it started out as, nothing but a mask. As 682 approach the mask, 035 beg and attempt to persuade 682 into not destroying it. “Wait don’t, we could work together and build a new world, a world where only you shall reign!” And in response to the begging for life, 682 laugh. 682 was laughing due to the fact that 035 was so cocky when he believes he was on the upper hand, but now with nothing to help him he is begging like the disgusting creature he is. 682 then immediately slams his hand on the mask crushing it. 5 hours of 682 breach and his re-containment , MTF units scout the foundation for any left over SCPs and then they have found 035, or what was left of the few broken pieces of the possessive mask. 035 was classified as terminated.

ok, 3 things 1. Isn't this story basically the same as "What if SCP 343 wore SCP 035?" story? Both stories are just 035 becoming a powerful reality bender, causes an XK-class end of the world scenario and there's no good ending 2. To fix the crisis in both of those stories, just pull a SCP 5000 and reset the world. Also, if you need the Exclusion Harness, just use 914 to fix it. This could fix pretty much any XK-class scenario if SCP 2000 won't work. There are other failsafes I can think of that could resolve any XK-class scenario where a reality bender goes rogue, but the 5000 method is usually the go to 3. There's no way 914 would make 035 so powerful it could overpower 343. Its never made anything THAT powerful. Even if it could, 343 isn't the only SCP that could stand in the way of 035. There's the Sisters, 999, The Deer, a lot of the 001 proposals, and even 1915. If 035 tries to bypass the reality bending powers of 1915, he'll end up triggering another Stars Do Not Wait scenario

I think they wrote themselves into a corner. I can't think of an satisfying way they could end the story. If God himself can't kill it, then all that's left is for it to continue killing and destroying anyone it wants, which is the ending we already have. Short of something like time travel, which would undo the whole story and feel unsatisfying, I don't see how it could even be challenged.

914 would never create anything for 035, Also 914 cannot change the mass of the materials put in it. The most likely scenario is that 035 would end up looking nicer with a more complex design. For my ideas of containing 035, I recommend using Scranton Reality Anchors to prevent any reality warping, the wearing of helmets made of the telekill alloy to prevent it from getting in peoples' heads, and perhaps even making blades from telekill for combating 035. Not to mention the most powerful guns you can possibly get your hands on. Then stick it (the mask itself, once separated from the body) in a box like usual, except the box is not just glass framed with any ordinary metal, but framed with telekill to keep it from manipulating anyone ever again.

I don't know how this would even happen the only theory i have that makes even a little sense is that 914 upgraded the mask based on his thoughts and ego since there isn't much else to upgrade in a sentient mask, the dark jester-esk body could be a contrast of his twisted humor while his immense power is likely a contrast of his ungodly ego and desire, Other than that theory which has very little to back it up this makes no sense at all and thats not even considering how weird very fine can be. I do agree though that 343 was very downplayed.

I highly doubt the clockworks could make a being who's power trumped God. And the problem with Bright's amulet was that it wasn't able to be destroyed. They've tried. What I find more likely is that SCP-035 simply became a prisoner of it's own imagination. And one is always OP in their own mind. Imagine that it was put into the Clockworks, and then the machine transformed a being that could do almost nothing but speak and think without a body, into a being that could live entirely in it's own little world. IT had no body when put into the machine. That was it's mistake. So why would the machine bother to make a body without reference to one? Not even a photo. Instead I theorize the mask only thinks it was given everything it wanted. But instead it's been placed in it's own little world where it can do whatever it wants. And it'd be a sad day indeed when it realizes that truth.

Alaggada I’m surprised to see 035 gaining this much power. Maybe it’s his original power for when he was the black lord. @@harrisevans1059 From what I can gather alaggada is pocket dimension to a realm of the most power full reality warpers and is ruled by The hanged king. If you haven’t heard about the hanged kings tragedy I suggest you go watch it but basically after the king got his vengeance he was chained to his throne to suffer. His kingdom of alaggada was left to be ruled by his four lords the red lord, the orange lord, the white lord, and the black lord. He also had an ambassador who acts as the protector and the voice for the king. From what I heard there was some sort of political struggle within the kingdom and the black lord was framed and was banished from his home into an alternate back watered world aka Earth. The black lord lost his form and was reduced down to the white mask we know as Scp 035. I am not sure if that’s 100% accurate but it’s what I heard about 035s backstory.

Whatever writer let 343 go down so easily is a genuine embarrassment to the SCP Fandom. It's literally GOD, his powers should be far beyond 035, and erasing him from existence is nothing short of plot armor when not only was this an ACCIDENT as 035 didn't initially realize what he'd even done, but 343 stupidly just decides to stop teleporting 035's body because the lights go out. 682 and Dr. Bright I can accept, it takes 682 a long time to detransmutate himself and 035's original powers were to break down materials so melting Dr. Bright's amulet makes sense, but 343's death was lazy writing. Especially when 035 could have just psychically controlled him and forced him to commit suicide or as an evolution of his goo breaking down materials 035's body being damaged could have caused 343's powers to break down to the point 035 could actually take him down. Ya know, USING THE POWERS 035 HAS INSTEAD OF PULLING SOMETHING COMPLETELY OUT OF YOUR ASS! Also, with how torn up he was about it defeating his mind control 035 should have destroyed the tinfoil hat.

ok so it took me a while to wrap my head around this one but I think I figured it out in a way that makes sense. It was established in a few shorts before this but I think the creators of this video didn't wanna rely on that to establish this so relied on the 914 experiments in this video to establish that 914 actually has a mind / some form of sentience. When Dr. Hurts / hertz put his cd in the clockworks, it came out with books on singing lessons and learning guitars making it very obvious that 914 didn't like the music. I say this because where there's a will, there's a way for 035 to take control. Most likely 035 took control of whatever will / sentience 914 had and used it to get this incredible power. But then, why did it want so much power that it could erase 343 from existence. My running theory is that what it actually wanted was 3 things. 1. A body made from its own acid in a vague humanoid form to properly control. 2. It's psychic powers to be used at range with the same level of ability as if someone were to put it on. 3. Enough power to kill / torture 682. The third one is interesting enough to talk about in its own right. There was no context for 035 knowing of 343s existence so it mostly likely didn't take him into account when vying for power. But it knew of 682. At least enough that, it went right for his room first as soon as he got enough power to mess with the other SCPs. This might seem like something absurdly broken and it very much is. In a recent video it was established that 343 himself doesn't have the power to put down 682 so for 035 in this state to so thoroughly embarrass it and seemingly have enough power to kill it. It's really no wonder it did away with 343 so easily. Side note, this probably means Mekhane is more powerful that 343 as well. Unless this is a matter of, "god making a stone so heavy even he couldn't lift it" kinda logic. It's been established that the cult of the broken god believes that 914 is a piece of their god mekhane who created the world along with her brother.
