Doing them in an AF is brilliant as they don't need constant stirring, especially if cooking a few to feed a family, but I will still do mine in a pan on the cooker, takes about 3 minutes. I also put grated cheese in mine. We have some wonderful conveniences these days.

Why 300? Seems a little low. Do they burn on higher temp setting?
@10KidsandAGarage3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they would cook too fast and burn verses cooking at a lower heat and cooking longer. Most foods in the air fryer work great with high heat and quick. I hope that makes sense
@JCiTrusTinYou3 жыл бұрын
I have the same fryer, mine is a 7.7 quart and it’s also a steamer. Whenever I fry anything there’s a lot of steam coming out the back and it gets on my backsplash and under my cabinets. I can’t put it anywhere not even on the stove because it will put condensation all over my stoves control panel. :-( I’m thinking about buying a flexible aluminum duct to attach around the square vent and extend it into my sink but I was wondering, what are others owners doing about that….??
@10KidsandAGarage3 жыл бұрын
Mine don’t do that, I do get smoke some times with what I’m cooking, like burgers. But if you don’t clean it every use it’ll have build up and just burn. So if that’s the case, wipe out with a warm wet cloth all around, and coils. Unplug first 🤪

My Air Fryer only goes to 205 max Any advice how long?
@10KidsandAGarage3 жыл бұрын
I would use it as the max, so mine goes to 400 and your max is 205. If I say 400 on a recipe, you would do 205. If I say 350, you would do 150. See if that helps!

i wonder if you are still scrabbling and frying your eggs in an air fryer? if you are i can help you, i use a saucepan for scrabbled, and a frying pan for eggs, its easy quick cheaper and a lot less cleaning up once done, still if you have time on your hands and you find the taste of air fried eggs or scrabbled Superior then carry on regardless'

I have had a lot of ppl that are handicapped that has thanked me for showing them things they can cook in the air fryer. They can’t use a stove anymore but are able to have a little freedom with cooking in the air fryer. Yes we all know it’s faster in a pan, I’m just giving others an option that they might not have. Even dorm kids that can bring an air fryer and can learn ways of using it.

@@10KidsandAGarage Ahh well ok i'll forgive you, ;) i use my air fryer a couple of times a week, spare ribs chicken duck lamb chips and stir fry, thats about it, the air fryer simply cooks the above tastier and crisper than using traditional methods,

Scrambled egg looks like rubber in her pan. Boiled eggs, at 120, for 11 mins, to perfection. But I am afraid for fried , n scrambled, I’ll still use a saucepan. I’ll maybe try a poached in air fryer as it looks to be good.

all air fryers are different so cook time might be different. Sometimes you have to add t2 mins

@@10KidsandAGarage I understand this. And amongst air fryers themselves are differences and nuances. You have the machine. These aren't unboxing and recorded live videos. Even the most current brand new machine videos have to be recorded, edited and then a decision to post is made. One can just record a 10 min video after experimenting. Thank you for the specious reply. This is not to be Insulting but, constructive/suggestive. At least have the final numbers in the description. I should walk away with how to prepare it and a temperature and time. Yes, nuances occur per machine but, what information am I getting? Think of someone wanting to watch a quick YT video, to make scrambled or other eggs in the morning or at any time.

@@10KidsandAGarage I figured. ;) Was going to be my guess. The detail is lost though, when the motive os just getting out videos fir consumption. More humans...more time spent. Time is finite for the human. Sorry to say, there are wat too many. 😀 but, uh, uh, I'll go to the website. I dint click links. It behooves one to turn a 5 minute check on how to cook eggs in an air fryer, not into an entire ordeal. Future proof. Throwing up content. Most engage in that. I'm here not to be entertained. That come in other videos or not in place of actual information. The entertainment and experimenting is fine. Not when I want to eat and go. You can just give the factual information in the description and put on a party hat with a rerun of The Sound of Music in Portuguese in the background after I get the basics. 😉
