Really good stuff here Dorothy, I love the wonky circles and cannot wait to use those on a layout. I could not help but notice how the blue tones in this paper collection complement Chester‘s eyes quite nicely.

Good afternoon Dorothy! Love this layout, especially the subject, colors, and embellishments. The close-ups of Chester are fabulous...wish I would have taken way more photos of my beloved Honey (boxer/rottweiler mix). Sadly, I only have a precious few. Including some of Chester's characteristics in your journaling is a great tip/idea. I don't think I've ever bought any Stampin' Up papers. I don't see any reference to paper weight; is there a particular weight of the papers? I was looking at Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper (as an example), as if I need more paper, but it's so pretty. Thank you so much for sharing your process for creating today's layout spread. As always, I appreciate that you share your work with us all. Enjoy your week!

Thanks Cindy. I'm sure you must treasure the photos you have of Honey. Here is my assessment on SU paper weight: The cardstock is a good thickness, and the white (and Very Vanilla, I think) are sold in thicker options. I don't have weight numbers, but I would qualify the designer series paper a medium weight. (I would qualify Creative Memories paper as light weight and Carta Bella heavy weight. ) If I compare SU printed paper to American Crafts, SU seems a tiny bit lighter, but not much. (Not very scientific, I know.) I hope this helps!
