Erin, You are an answer to my prayers. I am working up a scrapbook of my adult daughter, who was born in 1970. We llived in SD and raised her on farm. God did not give me an imagination of my own, so I have to borrow from artists like you. Thank you so much. Mary

Absolutely LOVE watching your videos and seeing your amazing creativity and talent at work! Thank you for being such an inspiration to a beginner scrapbooker!! I’d love to see you using your Spectrum Noir triblend markers more please. I was so impressed by how you’ve used them with stamped images in your layouts, that on my birthday last weekend they were what I asked my son and daughter for as my birthday gifts 🎁 😄 So now I have 48 beautiful colours raring to go! Just love everything about your videos, so thank you for all your hard work and for sharing your creativity with us x

Love this farm layout! I grew up on a dairy farm and so wish all those stamp sets were available. Mom got my sister and I each a horse after she and dad divorced and showed them in 4-H. Hose stamps would be wonderful as well! CTMH has nicer stamp sets now than they did 10 or so years ago. If I remember, maybe 20 years ago when I first started collecting stamps sets, CTMH had wonderful graphics and then it seemed they went into a “lull” and I lost interest. Now that I started seeing layouts recently and the catalog from this year, CTMH has drawn me back in. Unfortunately, I have missed out on some older sets. I didn’t even know they had dies now until April! That’s how long ago I was purchasing from CTMH. Thank you for all the beautiful layout designs you create. I just found you a few months ago and am a fan! I recently in the past couple weeks found Jayma! I love how she uses the Cricut to design with as well. I’ve had 4 Cricuts and never learned how to use them! 🙄🙄🙄. I’ve only dabbled with my Explore a little, got the Maker 2.5 years ago and only tested it. Got the Joy around the same time and only tested that as well. I sold my E2 to my SIL this year. I never learned to use that one! Needless to say, I need to use them! Jayma walked through her “Beach Beauty” title and made it look so easy. Last night I tried making a title with her tips on that title. I have the title created and ready to print. Had my Joy all ready to go and the PC would NOT recognize it. I’ve been having major issues with my PC for over a week now. Either a virus or hard drive going bad. The PC wasn’t recognizing the Bluetooth USB, so have to figure that out today. Maybe now that I have the file saved in Cricut Design, I can access the Joy via my iPad. Will go down later to try. So frustrated last night. PC took an hour to come up so I could get into Cricut Design. 🤣. Maybe I’ll have to pull out my Maker, however, I fractured my arm next to the wrist bones 3 weeks ago and lifting that heavy machine from top of cabinet level might be painful. My Explore is at my mothers. Lol. Such predicaments. 🤣🤣🤣. TFS!!!
@CraftyConceptswithErin Жыл бұрын
Oh no, I am so sorry you fractured your arm, I hope you are not in a lot of pain. I enjoy Jayma's videos too! I have been making a big effort to use my Cricut more and I am always happy when I do. Mine sat for years collecting dust but now it is earning its keep. Sorry your computer and Cricut are not talking to each other, hopefully that was resolved. You have known about CTMH longer than I have! I think you are going to like a few of the stamp sets in the next catalog. There is a great farm animal one with a horse. It's part of a collection called The Good Life and I am really looking forward to creating with it. That is neat you grew up on a dairy. I was a dairy science major in college. We had a lot of labs on the dairy and I would go back to class smelling a bit too much like the cows, no one in my history class wanted to sit next to me lol.
@starrdustmemorieswithdiane934 Жыл бұрын
Hi Erin! Yeah, I’m having pain with this fractured arm. I think it’s more soft tissue and nerve pain that surrounds where the fracture was. I came down pretty hard on my hand, especially the palm of my hand, the back part of the hand. I think I have a little soft tissue and nerve damage as when I rub my good hand over the top of my right hand and lower right forearm, it feels very weird like nerve issues. Writing is a problem and it’s painful when I try to do that. It’s good in the morning, but as I go through the day, it can become kind of painful. It’s not throbbing nearly as bad as what it did a month ago, but when I use it too much, It will start throbbing a little bit. I see the doctor on Monday so I’ll talk to him about those things and see what he says. Flexion isn’t good up or down, back-and-forth so we’ll see. It’s just gonna take time. I need to get back to work hopefully next month so I can buy more things that I want! I’ve been out of work since June 30 of last summer because of a foot wound and then I had back issues going on. Back surgery in May and now this arm, so hopefully I can get back to work next month. As a nurse, I have to be able to do documentation as I work for nursing agencies taking care of disabled kids. I have to do paper documentation so it entails a lot of writing. Hopefully in a month that will be better. Can’t hardly write my name hardly without pain. Lol. I’m too old to work in the hospital. Almost 65 and can no longer pound those floors for 12 hours/day. So painful when I get home. My computer is back up and running! I put a new SSD drive in it on Saturday and installed all the software and everything I had on it from before. So nice to have an SSD drive now because it boots up and shuts down quick. I no longer have to wait and wait and wait for webpages to come up. Will try out the Cricut this week again and see how that goes. Hopefully I can get it to connect now and cut what I want it to. I installed new RAM in this computer in January as one stick went bad. It had 8GB in it and I increased it to 16. Also put in a new graphics card with 4GB RAM in February to do video editing with. It was so doggy trying to do that before. So, with the new hard drive, I edited a very small video for an Amazon review Sunday night. Was so much faster! Just awesome! Now to learn the video and editing software more so I don’t have to call my geek friend in San Jose about it all the time! 🤣 I did sign up under you last week with CTMH, so have to learn the ropes of being a consultant. At this point I’m not able to purchase much until I can get back to work. I am planning on ordering that Cape Cod collection tomorrow or Friday. Just waiting on some money. I so love that collection. So much I want to order and so little funds right now. Waiting for the new yearly catalog to see what’s going to be in that. Also, I LOVE the idea of a horse theme and I bet you do too as I saw you have horses with one of the layouts you did recently with the Hey Handsome collection. GORGEOUS! My sister and I showed horses in 4-H in high school. My Quarter horse at the time came down with navicular disease right before I was going to show him in my Junior year. He had been doing so well before that. My 4-H leader let me show one of her horses. So at least was able to participate. I will have to get that collection so I can scrap my years of having horses. I wanted to get horses when my son was growing up, but I only have an acre of land. My MIL wouldn’t sell me 2 more acres of their 120, so never was able to have horses. My husband, her son was killed in 1990 (mid-air collision by Detroit) and were almost finished building our house at the time. I should have sold it and bought land to have horses on. I’m dumb. 🤣. Just couldn’t pull myself away from the home we built together. 😉

Hi Erin, love this one, but then I love all your videos - thank you! I recently purchased the Epson PictureMate 400 so that I can print at home like you do. I've combed through the user manual and all the settings, but I can't for the life of me find where to shrink a photo for printing it smaller. I can only find the windows settings with 5x7, 4x6, 3.5x5 etc. Without taking more than a minute of your time, would you have a quick answer of what the heck I must be missing? I'd be forever grateful!!
@CraftyConceptswithErin2 жыл бұрын
Hi Judy, sorry it isn’t working smoothly for you. Once you get everything sorted out you were going to love it though. When you say windows I’m assuming you have a PC? I have a Mac and the software I use easily allows me to change the photo size. On my desktop I have iPhoto and when I’m printing from my iphone I use an app called print to size. I believe my friend uses the PicFrame app. Do you have a photo editing software on your computer?
@JudeCrafts2 жыл бұрын
@@CraftyConceptswithErin Hi Erin thanks so much for replying! Yes, I have a pc. I use the photo editing app that came with Windows. The print command from there only has limited options. I tried going into the picturemate software and I see the reduce by % there but have not been successful in applying it to the print command in the photo editor. I will look for apps compatible with pc and maybe that will do the trick. Thanks for so your wonderful inspiration, I'm a big fan!

Hello, that is a great question. I highly recommend the Epson picture Mate 400 photo printer. I have always preferred Epson printers and I have tried many over the years. I have noticed many other crafters also recommend this printer. When printing from my iphone I use the Print to Size app. The price fluctuates a bit on Amazon for the printer but here is an affiliate link www.amazon.com/dp/B014KU0RIA/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_glt_i_ZK8446P3CWTMQ0RXP751?linkCode=ml2&tag=craftyconcept-20
