The writing on the book changed colour from brown which looked flat to scarlet which bumps up the page better & tones in with the circle etc at the bottom. It is a nice page when finished. I love the book so I am sitting here drawing it whilst watching the video as I don't own a cricut. In fact, I just purchased a new computer on Friday plus a printer which I have to work out how you use. My nephew put it altogether & got it working so that part is done, now it is up to me to figure out how to use it. It will make my life easier as my hands don't work well but I can still type so now I will be able to type my letters out & my friends might hear from me more often. 😃

I love this layout! I wish I had a Cricut because that book is adorable. You changed the color of the title letters on the book; they really do stand out more now than when they were brown. Sometimes little changes make a big difference!

Erin-I love this layout! I’m in love with the books and fall colors and I found your instruction on balancing layouts to really hit me where I needed to understand. I hear you using several different glues and was wondering how you choose which one you will use? Erin S..

Hi Erin, I’m glad the tips were helpful! I use the Bearly art glue mainly for intricate pieces, I will reach for the Tombo white glue when it is a bigger piece or for card making. It is less expensive and has a flexible hold to it. Stiff glues can cause papers to warp. The Bearly art glue is really perfect for everything, just a higher price point.

Hello Terri, I am so glad you are enjoying the ideas! I put removable glue dots on my mat to hold the papers perfectly square. The grid lines in the mat make it easy to line up your paper layers. The book die is from the Cozy Up digital SVG collection from CTMH. It is so darn fun and I’ve already used it in three projects.
