I love your videos. You are my kind of people❤️. I am a beginner but have jumped into junk journalling with both feet. I’m 71 yrs old and retired so I have plenty of time to watch and learn. I have 6 grands, one girl and 5 boys and I love your grands stories. You are a delight. I am in south Texas (Corpus Christi area).

Love the projects. Thank you 😊 we have had a horrible year with skunks. Our dogs have been sprayed multiple times and I have had to give them tomato sauce baths. The skunks took up shop under our shed and every night it was a chore to keep the dogs away. We read that putting moth balls wherever they were would drive them away so I of course bought them. I was worried the dogs might get into them so never followed through with putting them out. We have cameras around the house and one night we saw a weasel and a couple of nights later there were vultures eating a dead skunk in the front yard. Stinky is an understatement!! We haven’t had a problem since. We think they just moved on because of the predators. Good luck with your stinky friends❤️

Your papers are so pretty! And your journal cover is definitely my style. Ohmygosh, E....I can't even imagine a skunk on our deck! Lol. In the past, I have sprinkled cayenne pepper around the base of my potted flowers to keep the squirrels and raccoons away. And it seems to work. The squirrels like to dig around in the flowers that are planted in the whiskey barrels. The raccoons love to eat bird seed from our feeders. You just have to put more pepper out should it get washed away by rain. Good luck! 🌻 Suzy xo

It is skunk season here too. There is a "repell all" from Walmart that helps with skunks. I have read that a motion light will scare them off and that they do not like citrus smelling stuff/fruit. Our dog was sprayed a few weeks back and we made a paste with baking soda, peroxide and dish soap. It worked well. One thing I learned, the skunk oil reacts with water and not in a good way 🤢, but that may be different for your surface as I was dealing with fur. 😁. Ps, love watching you. Thank you for sharing, makes my day!!

I click my tongue too! So It doesn't bother me at all! It's okay!!!!! Don't let it bother or worry you what others say. By the way, I LOVE SKUNKS! I LOVE the scent of Skunks! It is my favorite scent! When I smell one, I open up all my windows just to have the smell come into the house. I even have a skunk-scented candle.!!! LOL! I know, I'm weird! But it is me! Thanks for another wonderful tutorial!

Ty so much , E. I enjoy all your videos and it doesn’t bother me whether you tap your fingers or click your tongue when you’re thinking. Lol. Sometimes people can be very petty. It’s very rude to point out such things. My beloved mum used to say,” If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” Enjoy your weekend. Xx

Edith, why do you use so many kinds of paper cutters?
@cindymitchell6043

I have several different paper cutters and each of them has their own purpose. And if you have arthritis or a muscle disease like I have this goes a long way as to how much pleasure and enjoyment you get out of crafting. Just thought I would share with you why I have multiple cutters.

Here in Winnipeg animal control removed 10 skunks from my yard a whole family The little ones were so cute I wish I could’ve kept them It was a whole family of skunks various size from babies to teen age to adults they were living in a hole under my patio they were humanely released so I hope they found a good place for them you said you wanted a story and that is my story of the summer they haven’t come back yet but I don’t know how you would stop once I’m coming around I heard that mothballs works

When you leave the hair dressers those hairs maybe on your head. As soon as I get outside after a hair cut, I comb may hair or shake my hair as much as I can bending over. This helps to get all those little hairs out of my hair.

When my daughter was about 3, we had a cat. One day while I was cooking dinner, I noticed she was standing at the top of the stairs (we lived in a tri-level home) talking to the cat. Suddenly, she picked him up and tossed him down the 5 steps to the lower level. I grabbed her up and asked her why she threw the cat down the steps and she put her hand on her hips and said with all seriousness, “he wouldn’t talk to me!” I told her that cats cant talk, and she tilted her head, closed her eyes and miss priss says, “well Morris talks!” Remember Morris from the cat food commercials?,! Have the Salon where you get your hair done save you a grocery bags of hair. Have Mr. Whitt put a glove on and put handfuls at gate posts and under shrubs,anywhere you think they come and go. Don't just lay it on the ground or the wind will blow. It in your pool. Hair from a barber shop would be even better. Where ever you get the most hair.

Well my day started out OK until I got the news I had to go pick my grandson up from school using the 6th grade. He had to get tested and then that rapid test came back negative then the school gave him the other task which won't come back for 3 or 4 days this days so hes quarantine until at least Sunday or Monday I'm praying that that's coming back negative too I think it's the change of weather because it's starting getting cool here. His name is Travis so if you can keep him in your prayers and keep all of our kids in prayer because this virus is not joking and playing around kids are getting sick. And we do everything that stays safe and it just hitting our kids and I'm high risk so I definitely don't want it although I've been vaccinated but I just don't want it.

I had a problem with raccoons getting into my trash cans. Conservation department told me to soak paper towels in ammonia and put them in the trash cans on the bottom. Raccoons will think it’s another animal’s urine and will leave and go somewhere else. Also cut human hair May keep them away. Good luck!!
