I know too many women/who can relate/ to this fall from grace/ it reminds me/ of one that i know personally /because she's/ family to me /her name is dasy /after the drugs/ she became more like posion ivy/ her story/ is one of which i wish memory would escape /because she trusted a friend/ who laced her weed then got her gang raped/ yet when i look into her face/ i still see the bright light that i remember/wish that i could have avenged her. I know that a poetry piece is powerful when it inspires me to write on the fly Great work C.😢😇🙏loved it!
