This was definitely a show of experience and knowledge Scrapman has done so many "Breaking the sound barrier with just x" that he understands how important aerodynamics are, it's basically the difference between using 10 thrusters to break the sound barrier to using 3 to do the same MUCH faster too Also using that tech of putting a logic gate on 0.02 force just to instantly get max acceleration was great too Yzuei had the better in-game skill tho, very daring on those countdowns

Challenge idea: Instead of build constraints being a certain number of blocks or power cores and a specific concept. Decide on a specific set of functional components (and maybe still a power core limit) and let them decide what to build. Eg. 6 wheels, 4 hover pads, 6 wing pieces, 4 engines, 2 thrusters, 1 energy shield, 2 weapons (any) Someone might opt to build an aircraft, but with less parts, while the other might build a more fleshed-out tank. Depending on the specific limitations and the nature of the competition, there might be some interesting differences in how each person approaches the task. (Just like how in the recent anti-missile video, they both went for vastly different approaches.) As long as you balance it so the more advantageous vehicle has a more limited selection of parts, it should be fair.

i thought of a similar idea. where every round each participant gets a choice of various things but can only choose one then next round a different set of choices but they can never choose something they turned down on previous rounds.

A good idea but it will need a longer build time included like 5 or 10 minutes as it will get confuseing haveing to remember what/how many parts are allowed as it progresses

Idea on the spherical Asteroid: A runner roams the asteroid while hunters fly around to disable the runner as fast as possible. Perhaps the runner can shoot back.

Love this idea. Please keep thinking up new ideas and mention this one on every video going forwards. I think this would make for a pretty good competition. It's a good way to utilise the space map for the good ol' hunters vs prey format.

Since you've been doing some stuff with trains lately and you're now revisiting the evolution concept, what if you combine the two and evolve trains? You each start with an engine you build and every round you add a car, except you all add a car to whoever's train won the last round. You cannot modify any previous cars between rounds and only add a new one to whatever won previously.

I wonder what woulda happened if anyone had tried to get away with the Slim Wheel for their Momowheel...? :P Also, possible idea: Select a single static heavy cargo carrying Jet, a single stationary target to blow up (Maybe Scrap's 'special cube'?, then do a Evolution Off with making Custom Missiles/Rockets Ordinance where ya get one firing to do as much Target Damage as ya can... if ya even hit it at all... and your available Thrust is locked in at only one single Rocket Engine... and good luck dealing with the Rocket Engine's uneven CoM that ya can't counter-balance with a second Rocket Engine. :P.

I love your evolution videos, but I'd like to see a common-ancestor variant. Do the first round like normal, then everybody starts with that base and continuously evolves their own branch from round to round. You could make plans for your current design that go beyond just thinking about the upcoming round.

New evolution scoring system concept. 1 point for each origin block creator. Can't replace a block with the same thing. Use color for whose is whose. Perfect way to see who contributed the most to the best model, and reward risks for more changes.

I looked but didn't find anything. I swear someone made a video following this idea, but I can't find one. There's regular evolution, downsizing evolution, and fusion evolution, but I can't find any degenerative evolution. If there's one I missed, oops. Either way, totally with you. Sounds like a good video idea. (Ideally, it'd be in a competition with a bit more room for creativity. Especially when the losing creation will probably have an obvious flaw, leading to an obvious improvement. (leading to very similar builds.))

Initial thought for the monowheel, soon disproved: thought you might do a Doomwheel of sorts, with the cockpit serving as the "axle" of the wheel. Is such a creation possible?

Here's an idea. 1 vehicle, 4 environments. Build a single vehicle that can do Land, Air, Space and Water. Do you try and dominate a one or two environments or make a generalist?
