Had you considered selling them direct to a business that needs them instead of taking them to a wholesaler (pallet yard)? Cut them out and charge a direct buyer 5 - 10/pallet. Out of those 1st 9 pallets, you would have made $45 - $90. Out from the stored batch you have in your shed you would have netted close to $215, all by cutting out the middle man.

It would take two days and a whole bunch of hassle. No way. like in any business, there's a thousand different directions we can all go but we need to focus on a few and do it well. Pedaling pallets to many different retailers certainly ain't my gig. What's the retailer wanted fifty a month? Where would I get?

Hi, I just started watching you and find it very encouraging. I am a 70 year old woman and now that I am retired I need a little revenue on the side. I only have the energy to pick cans and bottles. I think this is one of the best videos I have seen that you have made. Oh if people only realized that once you mess your back up that you cannot undo the damage. Sure, there is surgery, but who wants to go through that and most people that I know, who have had back surgery, it’s never ending. I have had scoliosis since I was 14 years old. I have had to learn, through the course of my life, how to do things differently...like using leverage for instance, and not actually lifting. Most people don’t know how to not hurt themselves. You are giving such valuable information and I hope people are REALLY listening! Thank you for being so kind as to share this info with your viewers. 😊👍🏻

Good video. I just started watching your channel. Chep USA (blue) pallets and Peco (red) pallets are both 4 way pallets. Not two way. They have that massive area (more Chep than Peco) to slide forklift forks or pallet jack forks. I've done both as I have 18+ years in the grocery industry! When pallets come in on the trailers they are staggered. One side ways and one length wise. That rotation charges every row. I've discovered it's just as easy to stab the width wise sideways and just pull it off the trailer. A little wider, but watch what your doing and you'll do fine.

Great video I'm starting to re-purpose the 2x4's on skids rather than buy stock 2x4's from Lowe;s and Home Depot for my Airbrushed Art cornhole game Sets, great money saver, those frame boards are much better quality than their stock boards, there is no sorting hours finding straight ones. I think they must run the skid boards though a planer, they are that level and squared, thanks again great video.

A person with the correct mindset would think 100 or 200.00 can make miracles happen. A storage unit isn't inexpensive so if the pallets alone pay to have a storage place, and it can be used for much more. I say smart!

Nice route with a good haul. I use to scrap pallets during my hour lunch break or down time during deliveries. My places to check were warehouses nearby, I would drive up and ask if they had a designated guy that recycled, which some did so I didn't load up, but I did find places that said it was first come so I would load up. Eventually I had a set route of warehouses along the way to the yard that I could collect from. The yard I recycled at paid $5 for pallets in great condition, I would take 16-24. Always had LUNCH or GAS $. Good times and a little exercise.

I live in Sask. Canada we have a company that makes pallets that are painted blue. There is a $15.00 deposit paid per pallet by the stores. If the pallets are returned they receive there deposit back. The small stores don't return them because it's not worth there time to return a couple pallets. I have a route that takes about two hours to cover and I do it weekly.

Ron Solivais thanks Ron. I don't normally go into any stores asking, but if someone is out back I'll talk to them and ask. Often times they say take them. They usually set them by the dumpsters so pallet recyclers grab them instead of going into the dumpsters.
