BigWheel Yeah I’m definitely familiar with the VP. I looked at an ‘05 as a work car just a year ago or so. I went with an ‘04 Corolla LE instead. Believe it or not they were about the same price. In similar conditions. Although the Civic was a bit rougher.About the same mileage too.

I owned one of its luxurious Canadian twins in the form of a '98 Acura EL 1.6 with the d16y8 Lil baby vtec .. Even tho it was autotragic the damn thing was great to drive and super comfy. Also you can't beat that Honda starter noise.

I've got a 97 Accord Wagon. . It's kind of crappy to and unfortunately, it's an automatic. . But it's my daily driver and dead reliable. . I never skim on the maintenance. . But the paint and interior is getting fairly weak.

I don't think that's a tweaker car. . First of all, it has over a half a tank of gas in it. . And they wouldn't have replaced the Overflow bottle. They would have just kept adding water. . In my humble opinion

Don’t crush it. I had a 2000. Ran great at 311,000 when I bought it. Drove it for a year & sold it. It’s still running. I would buy another one. Love that generation.

10th digit of the VIN is the year 0 through nine is 2000 - 2009 before and after that it was alphabetical so a Z would be 1999, an A is 2010

This car, here in Brazil, coasts aprox US$ 2000.00, in razoable condition, manual or automatic. But the Brazilian versions, was equiped whti all electrical windows, and tacomether in dashboard, since basic/simple version. This is very simple, but is mechanical is good, already the body is ugly. Cosmethic problems, easy solution So, he is funniest car. Ideal to play

I agree, that would make someone a good beater car. But what about doing a little work to it and selling it at a higher price? I'm guessing that as common as those are, you've probably got a hood for it at the yard, and I'd fix the exhaust leak and the sketchy upper rad hose...sell it for $1,200
