Kristie, after watching this video and all the cute cards you made I'm now a subscriber. I love every one of your cards. I think card #1 & #2 and the puppy shaker are my favorites. I'm partial to dogs as I am a huge dog lover. However, the kitty cards are cute too. What a wonderful kit to work with. Also, I am so glad to see someone else mat all their cards. In most of the videos that I watch, they don't mat their paper and I think matting just enhances the patterned paper. I'm not big on white on white as I see so much of. I see that I have a lot of videos to view on your channel so I better get to it. I'm happy I found you.

I have always been a fan of adding matted layers to my cards. It really does make a big difference in the finished look. I love using 6x6 papers for card making, so most of my videos focus on really utilizing the paper pads. 🙂

I have only come to know of Doodlebug and E ho Park brands since watching your 6 x 6 paper pad clips as I am in Australia in a small country town so I dont have much variety here, so now I normally rush off to ebay or an online craft store and buy them now when I see your clips as they are absolutely adorable

TheMimicocopuff Thank you! For my 6x6 paper pad video, I usually start with a couple new-to-me sketches. I look for sketches that I think will work well with the papers or will help highlight the stamps/images cut aparts. As I continue making cards, I’ll select sketches based on what size papers are still available. 🙂

rubymeagher1005 Thank you! I really enjoyed guest designing for SFL. 😊 I own the Tonic guillotine trimmer. It’s the 6” trimmer with the attachment to cut 12” paper. I’ve had mine for many years and haven’t had any problems with it. And best of all, there are no blades to replace.

these are fun. So glad you didn't use the paper clips as clips because they look very very rude. Someone gave me some and I took them to work and didn't realise how rude they looked. I passed someone some clipped together papers and their face was a picture!

Very nice cards but I can't help noticing that the kit might have better be called for the love of dogs. As a cat lover I would be disappointed because there is so little cat paper in the kit.

roden70 Thank you! 😊 Only 2 of the paper collections are actually animal themed. The Kitten Smitten collection by Doodlebug is exclusively cat related, but the paper I received in this kit weren’t very “cat looking”. The stamp sets were pretty even with both cats and dogs. I guess I did make more dog than cat cards though. And I’m actually more of a cat person than a dog person. 🙂
