They have both appeared on talk shows and mentioned how they get mixed up by everyone…and they told the story of how they finally met one day by accident. They were both in some LA Korean spa and they were both in the baths area…totally naked…and they realized they were finally in the same place at the same time. And that’s how they met. It’s so crazy to imagine.

Love this franchise 😍💀🔪🩸 Super proud of myself for guessing the cop as the bad guy. If they had killed Gale I would have rioted! It's actually a lot easier to survive a stabbing than a shooting but Gale and Chad are definitely on their last of 9 lives (shout out Puss in Boots 😜) The vision of Billy are Sam's interpretation of him. If he's her dad it makes sense she sees him older rather than as a teen. I love how the killers forget that the survivors are killers too. Gale, Sidney, Sam, and Tara are all capable of killing to survive. The biggest neon bright plot hole to me is how the f**k does no one knows who Richie's family members are and what they look like?!!! Wtf, Kirby?! You're FBI and don't know Richie's dad and siblings are right there??!! How? Maybe if it was an uncle/cousins, but damn.

I personally thought this was the best sequel in the franchise after 3, but damn did ya’lls review take me TF out. You earned a sub - EASILY. Also, so much of this franchise’s love is built on it being meta and super campy. But adding to that now, the nostalgia and generational comparisons. So watching all 6 back to back can definitely making the tedium standout a lot more. Also, Sam (to me) is a great new final girl archetype. She does *TECHNICALLY* have a proclivity for liking violence (as seen in 5 when she kills Richie, and then again here when she smiles as she takes the family out) she just knows how to reign in her inner-psycho. So they are keeping some things fresh, just without changing the formula too much.

I agree with the vast majority of what yall are saying -- but I really enjoyed the movie. If they movie made any logical sense, then the movie would be over in 15 minutes. I do like the reveal of the killers because this movie is just a requel of Scream 2 and throughout the movie the drop references to it. (16:15) Killers got into Gale apartment by posing as food delivery workers . There was a line about ordering food, then it went from day to night instantly and their door bell rang. Couple things that bothered me: Why do characters warn Ghostface before attacking them? How are the carpenters affording that nice apartment if they were cut off financially? Who sat that wig upon Hayden Panettiere head and thought that it was okay?

To this day I remember sitting in the theater absolutely terrified and almost walking out during the first 15 min of the first Scream movie! Drew was perfect for that role. After seeing Scream 2, I had my fill and didn’t feel the need to see any others, but that first one sure was memorable for me!

I enjoyed the movie (and the Scream franchise) cuz it was fun seeing it at the theatre with other people but this is a spot on review for a serious critique except Joseph may have missed the part when Daddy killer revealed in his reveal monologue about creating and curating the Ghostface museum with his son who was killed in the last movie purposefully found the 2 idiot killers from the beginning of the movie and put the museum and all the prior evidence from previous films into their names to be the fall guys and take away any potential link or focus to the revenge killers.

I loved the movie, but still loved this review. Y’all are so funny every time. Thing is, the movies are supposed to be wacky and satirical - they’re not really meant to make “sense” which is why I love them. They give you some crazy shit, an entertaining movie that doesn’t take itself seriously, because it knows how ridiculous it is. LOVE the Scream series but totally agree with how absurd it is that these kids survived all of these stabbings. Mindy and Chad got wrecked. That girl Anika who fell to her death shouldn’t have even been able to crawl onto the ladder from her stab wound. The plot armor was insane, a lot of people wanted to see part of the core four get iced despite their likability for the sake of drama but I think there’s more intense attacks than there are dramatic death scenes so the directors can ascertain indefinite sequels. It is a franchise after all…movie was alright though. It’s so self-referential but that’s what makes it Scream. Great review :) *Also I was waiting for Joseph to read Kirby’s wig and he delivered hahaha

The first one was a decent meta commentary and a fun movie. After that, it's schlocky fun and commenting on the genre. It's very nearly supernatural at this point. I had fun with it for what it is. I hated scream 5 so this wasn’t as bad by any means. But it’s so silly the ghostface killers always end up these tiny scrawny killers. Yet are able to take down tons of people. And also take tons of abuse and keep getting up. It’s also insane how long the killers monologue. Saying how they’re going to kill the sisters but just keep talking… and talking.. and talking. The fact these people have extensive damage being stabbed there is no way they are still alive it’s way too many survivors . I think scream is probably the best slasher franchise over all, obviously lots of ups and downs, but enjoyable over all for me. This one was just stupid. The opening scene was awesome and the kills were very brutal, but besides that, the main characters are all Wolverine apparently, because they can’t be killed and the killers motives are beyond ridiculous and just a copy of scream 2. Like so many plot holes and contrivances. 😂

Honestly, the best screams are 1-4. five was interesting and 6 was fun but not having Neve is crazy dishonest.

Watched it yesterday and actually enjoyed it more than Scream 5. It was everything I expected from a Scream movie 😂
