When this movie came out I was in my late junior years and having mild autism and sensativity issues, just the promotional material got me scared. However by the time Scream 3 came out I became intrigued as everyone was talking about the Scream franchise at school and, being in my mid teens at that point, I thought 'this looks quite cool'. Three years later I saw Screams 1-3 on TV. Loved them. Saw Scream 4 in cinema and loved the experience but felt it was heavily edited. Scream 2022 came across as a return to form but aimed at a more modern audience of course. Anyway I'm glad to now be a major Scream fan.
