Ah scream, the "parking lot ride" but does the location really matter? This ride is awesome with all its unique loops and twists plus its actually pretty smooth and doesn't thrash you around, nor bang your head. I found this ride very enjoyable and it is one of my fav's. Yes I know its basically a clone or based off of bizzaro, but I still like this ride.

Scream is such a great coaster One way it's so good is that it always has such low wait times on an average park visit, you'll wait around 5 to 10 minutes a walk on if you're lucky :)

This was my first big coaster, just rode it today and it was so fun!! I'm 14 and when I was 11, I went on Colossus and I was traumatized!! I never went on any big roller coasters until today when my brother dragged me on this and I loved it. I also went on The New Revolution and Twisted Colossus, both of which I loved. I'm too scared to ride Tatsu and Goliath though, I'm scared of heights and big drops.

When you're up to it, you should definitely check those two out! Have you rode x2 that's one of the coolest rides I've been on, but tatsu, I just wanna warn you, if you go on it, choose a time later in the day, i went into the cue one day, and that tarp above traps all the heat, just wanna warn you, but when you're up for it, most definitely check it out!!

Scream's new paint looks great and it seems to be running well...but in all seriousness if Magic Mountain didn't want to tear up the parking lot a thin layer of pea gravel really wouldn't be too much to ask. The stuff is sold around $30-50 a ton.

My boyfriend and I went about a month ago. We spent about a week looking at Ride POV vids on YT to prepare ourselves because he hasnt been on them in a while a Ive never been on a REAL coaster before other than CA Screamin @ Disneyland( if youve been to Six flags youd agree) nor had i ever been to Six Flags. So I was nervous. Batman was supposed to be the start up ride but it was closed so we went to Apocalypse to "break me in", riiight? Well, I had never feared for my life more!! that ride was hella fun though! Anyways, we get off that ride and bless his soul my boyfriend wasn't sure what to suggest next because my screaming bloody murder and being on the verge of tears on apocalypse made him feel so bad and personally I didnt want to get on another ride after that because they all get bigger and scarier. However, I couldnt let myself be THAT little B-word so i confidently chose Scream. No line jumped straight on to the ride- and can I just say after that first drop that ride was SMOOOOOOTH! I had a great time, was even laughing lmao after we got off he asked on a level of 1-10 how scary was this and I said "a 3 maaaybe a 4" he asked "-and Apocalypse?" Me "Oh that was a solid 8 but was suppper fun!" Him ➡🤔🤣 Wait what!??? So to my timid and first time riders at six flags if you are going to six flags magic mountain today, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT START YOUR DAY WITH APOCALYPSE unless your into that "rip off the bandaid mentality" and secondly DONT LET SCREAM INTIMIDATE YOU- trust me it was the easiest ride to get through! You wont regret it 🎢

A mirror image of Medusa (now called Bizzaro) in Six Flags Great Adventure. That's not a bad thing considering that's one of my favorite coasters. Only thing that hurts this ride is it's on a parking lot, where Medusa had trees around it and the queue starts under the Cobra roll

Scream (Magic Mountain), Medusa (Discovery Kingdom) and Patriot (California's Great America), are probably the best floorless coasters in California :)

I agree with the "parking lot" people. As thrilling as this ride is, it's nothing but steel over concrete. Why does theme even matter? Well, it not only puts you in the mood, but by having elements blow by you it gives you a greater sensation of speed, and angle of trajectory. Compare this to Superman in Six Flags New England for example, which has a variety of elements you whip through and around during the ride (structures, mist, lights, trees, etc.) all matching the theme of the ride. Even Revolution manages to give you some theme with it's patriotic paint job, and journey in and through the trees. Nitro at SFGA is a good example of how to make a ride that goes through the woods, like you're flying. Really all they need to do is plant some trees, put up some painted signs, billboards, lights, and that would go a long way.

My though for Scream!: Overall breathtaking, but I could get my head hurt for riding it the entire time. Honestly, it might get jerky on some of the parts of the ride. So, I am giving Scream! a definite go for me!!!!!!!! I love this ride and there is rarely a long line. I actually was able to ride on it back-to-back without getting off, 3 times due to no line at all. Other than that, the ride is smooth and has awesome inversions. However, the theming is lacking.
