I remember when they played it 24/7 on MTV Germany. I was very busy at this time, sharing the same unhealthy hobby as Lanegan and working my axx up to get the money for it. I was already over 30 years old, but still an unruly, depressive soul. I knew instandly that this lad had also a problem. It's the same when your'e in a strange city. You begin mechanically looking after a counterpart and you'll find him every damn time. He's gone now, so are all my close friends from the past. My better half and i are the only one alive, now we are near death too, and we're so thankful for every day we can spend together. We're still on methadone, but unfortunately it doesn't ease the pain anymore and our government does not allow any further help for former H-addicts.
