My dad had race cars when I was growing up so I kind of lived in this world. He had a duster that would do a wheelstand like doms charger. I was lucky enough to show him and let him drive my 500 horsepower 4banger that could beat Ferraris and lambos before cancer took him in 06. Now I'm passing my knowledge and experience to my kids. Helped my oldest son build a diesel Dakota with a 4 cylinder Cummins. I have a couple of classic muscle that I built in honor of my dad but now I mostly build super strong trucks. I still have the van he built for my mom, a 77 ford econoline with a 429 cobra jet and a C6 trans. My wife calls it the A-team van. Insane that Paul Walker is actually gone. It doesn't seem fair at all, but life sadly is never fair. Almost feels like he's still around considering these films are still coming out. RIP.

Its wild that I was a HS freshman when this came out. Now 38 with a Skyline GTR. All DIY wrenching. This movie was everything to us. Thanks Paul.

I never was able to decide if I'm a muscle or a tuner... Scenes like this make it harder for me to make a choice
@akgonen60 Жыл бұрын
u put enough money into a tuner .... tuner will outlast and hang or even beat a v8 or a mucle car ... with mucle cars the more power the engine has the MORE PRESTINE the conditions on the track have to be with a tuner u put 10k into the hoood and u will probably run 8 seconds on the track and it will outlast a mucle for sure on length of life alone ..

Easy, which one sounds and looks better. Obviously muscle

@@akgonen60Modern crate motors are pretty well built compared to 60 years ago when they wouldn’t last more than 100k miles of regular driving. What import drives 8 second 1/4 miles with 10$k put into it?

So let me get this straight, 6 seconds into a 10 second race, the train lights start flashing and the arm starts to drop. Then exactly 4 seconds later the train has ALREADY arrived? They really should check how those lights and gates are configured and provide more of a delay. Somebody could get hurt!!
@jacoblansman81474 жыл бұрын
I live right next to such a crossing. We might do things differently over here in the UK but at my crossing and every other crossing I know of, the barriers go down a full MINUTE at least before the train actually arrives. If there's 2 trains arriving within 5 minutes of each other, the barriers stay down until the second train has passed (usually in the opposite direction to the first train)

I know I'm a bit late, but the fact Brain who was driving a top tier Toyota Supra- had to use NOS just to keep up with Dom's Dodge Charger. Really shows how much a beast that car was.

The dvd - had angle changes were you can watch the crash - from every angle the filmed From inside the car - to the camera car to the Supra pov - the Camera on the ground. The charger drove up a pipe on the truck to flip like that.

You know what I just realized… despite everything that’s happened up to this point in the movie, Dom is super calm and reminiscing in this scene about a pleasant activity he did in his high school days. He’s probably doing this because he knows that he will never be able to do it again, since either a) he will outrun Brian and spend the rest of his life as a fugitive, or b) he’ll be caught by Brian and spend the rest of his life in prison. This movie’s always rewatchable because of the emotion in it, IMO.

Thank you for that last sentence. I couldn't explain why I love this one compared to the others until now. "The Emotion in it." explains perfectly.
