Don't understand all the hate! Just went to an Apple store today to get a glass protector done on my iPhone 7, it's on there perfectly and bubble free. Sure, it's a bit costly, but I'd say it's 100% worth it. And it's a real cool device.

okay yeah we had these at Best Buy. did a test run with them. fail. no one wanted these screen protectors. they're too thin and flimsy. everyone wanted the zagg even though it's 40$ and belkin was 30$. it was a giant failure, I'm surprised apple took it

I used to obsess about screen protectors. Used to fret about getting dust trapped underneath, and hated the nightmare of putting them on. Then I realized most screens are made of gorilla glass, screen protectors are bullshit, and you don't really need them. I've never been happier!

+Chris Spaceman I had a few phones without screen protectors (yes, new phones) and every phone I didn't use a screen protector on got micro scratches that you can see when you hold the phone into sunlight to some pretty deep scratches you feel with your fingernails when you scrape over it. Keep in mind I treat my phones like my eyeball, never lay them screen down on the table or put them inside my pocket with keys or anything besides the phone itself. I, personally, wouldn't use a playstic screen protector, but go with a tempered glass as it feels a lot nicer when you swipe over it. tl;dr: No. You don't need one, but if you care about your phone - you do.
