Fun fact: had Tim Miller directed Deadpool 2, his original plan was to have the 2015 Fantastic Four all die in really embarrassing ways except for Ben Grimm. Miller wanted Ben Grimm to face off against the Juggernaut as the final battle, but Ryan Reynolds was against the idea causing Miller to leave the film.

Deadpool also can't die. Like he literally is unable to die, which makes his infatuation and romance with Death ironic. We know from Logan and several comic runs that Wolverine can sometimes die. Yes Deadpool eventually does manage to get around it and be with her but he's still a regenerating immortal being

All the X Men FoxVerse movies are part of the same universe Deadpool is part of. The X Men Origins, the first three X Men movies and the Wolverine are part of the same timeline meanwhile the other movie plus Deadpool two movies are part of the revised timeline.

2:46 “His mutant powers are healing and regeneration just like wolverines” Was hoping to get some kind of elaboration on this. Dude jumps off bridges, lands perfectly into vehicles. Most of the acrobatic shit he does clearly wasn’t on the table prior mutant activation. Maybe I’m wrong, but doesn’t his narration and 4th wall breaks also happen post procedure? I guess I just feel deadpool the mutant is so much more than Wade Wilson. And maybe the cause of all the meta. Or maybe this has been addressed in previous vids or later in this one. 😳😬

Well the Wade/Deadpool from Origins was a mutant on Team X. His power was basically a low class mutation of enhanced reflexes/acrobatics. Kinda like Zero from the same movie just with used swords instead of guns. So one could assume in the original timeline it triggered sooner? Or in Deadpool before the forced mutation he did have it? It was just so meh no one realized it. Plus since no new mutants were being born (which would explain the whole forcing the DORMANT x gene to trigger) around that time(2016), no one would’ve looked into it. In the comics his regeneration comes from Wolverine’s blood……so it could be related to the post credit scene in Apocalypse. They were forcing x genes to trigger specific powers by injecting blood of other mutants into the the subjects. Wolverine’s was on deck. The lab burnt down so they started the experiments seen in Logan. Which Deadpool was set in 2016 and Logan was 2029. Since no one had x genes anymore they had to “clone” mutants. The New Mutants could also be explained this way. Sorry went off on a tangent. As for the 4th wall stuff? The torture made him go crazy and he thinks he is a fictional character now lol😂

I was all pumped to see this movie until I watched this video. Now I feel like I won't have a clue what's going on, because I'm not a Disney channel subscriber/don't watch all the loads and loads of Disney channel spinoff stuff, and was never that big of a fan of the MCU in general.
