One thing that I hope gets addressed is the matter of Ross' heart. In Captain America Civil War, Ross says, "5 years ago I had a heart attack." and then in the Black Widow film, Natasha asks Ross over the phone, "What is this, your second triple bypass?" In the comics, Red Hulk does have a healing factor as long as he doesn't get too hot to use it. So, I'm wondering if the real reason why Ross took the Leader's help to become Red Hulk was to fix is heart issue since he wouldn't be able to win the election, much less run the country with a failing heart.

Agreed, but I'm also concerned. I'm trying to imagine a satisfying conclusion to this fight. I don't want it to end with Sam giving another speech. I like TFATWS, but that final speech was hard to watch. I don't want another "a Hulk stops because of Betty" moment like in Incredible Hulk. Obviously because it's been done. Meanwhile, Sam can't physically overpower a Hulk. Is the physiology of Red Hulk the same as OG Hulk?

I have a theory that the Leader brainwashed Isaiah, ordering him to shoot Ross. But here's the twist - not to kill him, but to inject him with some Hulk serum and turn him into Red Hulk, and maybe the Leader can control him in helping him take over Washington and then the world

When Ross tells Sam that he wants another go at making Captain America an official military position, this just further cements that once Sam says no, Ross will just do it anyway and form the Thunderbolts. Ross might even use the Thunderbolts as a way to get the public to slander Sam Wilson further since it could be seen as Ross giving Sam a fair chance to adhere to his goal, but the public could just see this as Sam being stubborn.

It really does, if including most of the eggs mentioned -> Eternals ending/Tiamut -> Adamantium source reference, ie Wolverine for the new Deadpool & Wolverine -> plot of Thunderbolt Ross takeover of govt/ Red Hulk appearance -> Skrulls & mutants, No wonder the title is Brave New World... more interesting for me to see if the further character development of Sam/ Falcon into as was mentioned, his various roles as himself a black man, Capt’s Best friend and chosen to helm the shield as CA; his role as a veteran military and view of political influences to HIS understanding of role as CA; his coping of all that - it’s a great potential of deep character plot. I wonder how if he might undertake that as well as Boseman did in BP and the prior CA:Civil War film. I think Mackie could surpass it since BP was a sovereign Nation with Wakanda and its same race mostly; whereas US is multicultural of many of its people’s. That has me intrigued if they can pull Falcon/CA level of comprehension and understanding of all those elements and be as great as what Rodgers was saying Sam could be; and why he chose Sam for the shield. It would be a good action packed but intelligent movie like the prior CA franchise has been so far. Guess we will see... good possible breakdown of trailer tho! 👍

Never really thought about it but, if we're using 97' as the timeline for x-men, a non-time traveling cable would be going on 30-something in the 616. I use to think it was ridiculous that they put Red Hulk here and not give us a Hulk focused movie. But I predict that maybe they put Red Hulk in this movie to address Sam not having Super Solider Serum. John Walker was a better Captain America than Steve because while he wasnt the perfect being he was flawed and had real traumatic experiences in war unlike Steve who basically didn't suffer any mental Trauma from fighting in World War II one of the worst events of human history I really enjoyed his role as Captain America much and his partner Lamar who sadly lost his life helping his friend and to be honest both Bucky and Sam we're both a holes to him when he was nothing but nice to them and wanted a team up and he was never a villain I'm glad he's going to be in Thunderbolts, he was the true hero of the series not Falcon or Winter Soldier!

Huh? Steve watched his "best friend since childhood" slip from his fingers to a presumed death. Did you forget the how he was in tears and then tried to drink himself into a stupor afterwards and was hanging out in the now bombed out pub where he last was with Bucky? He then had to tell his sweetheart he was going to sacrifice himself to stop the Valkyrie's payload? Even in the theatrical cut of the Avengers, Steve is having flashbacks to the war when he is at the punching bag. In CATWS, Steve is mourning Bucky in the Smithsonian exhibit as much as Peggy, and the mere appearance of someone who looks like his presumed dead friend leaves him frozen. Steve had the trauma, but was just a better man. Walker was cut from the mold of Gilmore Hodge, the candidate for Project Rebirth that Col. Philips preferred, instead of Erskine's favorite, Steve.

Let's be honest it's not gonna be a game of "How does Sam defeat the red hulk", it's going to be a game of "how long can Sam keep the red Hulk occupied/at bay and stay alive while his team goes and turns off the Leader 's mind control device". I never understood people’s obsession with every MCU movie needing to address Tiamut. Not one movie released since eternals needed to address it at all. It would’ve just been shoehorned in for no reason. It seems like people just need things to complain about

Does anyone know what happened to Shang-Chi? He nailed the role (I admit the end of the movie got a little Dragon ball Z, but not his fault)and then zero mention of him ever.. I was hoping for an appearance in the Marvel's, but no such luck. They created momentum for the character, and then he dissappears for years. That's just bad brand management. Kamala Khan got her 2nd appearance already so why not Shung-Chi? The type of action Shung-Chi brings is a breath of fresh air when it comes to fight scenes. I love magic but an authentic uncut fight scene is hard to beat. Give the people what they want.. More fight scenes in Air Jordan's.

It's kind of frustrating because even though the re-shoots were likely a necessary monetary hit to bolster Marvel's reputation, you know unless this movie makes like 3 billion dollars it's gonna be called a failure. Right? The whole discourse surrounding Marvel has become kind of tiresome.
