You mention all the infected as "clickers" but those are the 3rd stage of infection. The horde that we see is most likely composed of "runners" and "stalkers" which are the first and second stage of infection. The infected at 8:23 is a stalker as the human form is still visible with fungus almost taking over, while runners are mostly humans with rage as the fungus hasn't developed enough in the host body. Third stage is the clicker, fourth rambler or bloater and the fifth which is extremely rare the rat king. I really hope we'll meet the latter.

Here's the items I caught: 1) The crowd running to Jackson are most likely infected, not specifically clickers 2) Ellie's friend/girlfriend from part 2 is named Dina, not Danny 3) The WLF are not all former Fireflies. Only Abby and her friends are Fireflies. 4) That man chained up is like 40. Lev in the game is like 12 or something. That's not Lev. 5) Ellie is a lesbian. She is not giving birth in that scene. Your nightmare theory seems more plausible. 6) Maria is Tommy's wife, not girlfriend Am I crazy or does it look like Ellie is riding with Abby on horseback at 8:58. What if Ellie is the one to bring Abby back to Jackson. That would be nuts.

Also Sarah didn't buy him a watch that was later broken, she took his already broken watch and got it fixed for his birthday. It was then broken again when they were both shot at by the soldier. The clocks in the shop symbolized nothing. It was a watch/clock repair shop. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

I'm gonna criticize for the first time here and say this video seems like it suffers from Identity crisis, I watch this channel mostly for theories and references to source material and I feel like most others do as well but it seems like you're trying to pivot away from that for this, also you say no spoilers but you basically did spoil a lot of stuff from the game either way not to mention many things are straight up wrong, I think you should just commit to one or the other, and it's okay to take a bit longer to release these. I understand you're trying to tiptoe around a certain event that happens in this game which will arguably be the biggest thing in the series, but I think you can still not give that particular moment away and reference other things without having to worry too much as long as you do a spoiler disclaimer, or just have a spoiler section at the end where you reference stuff from the game.w

He also goofed some of the details. The two people on horseback weren't "trying to make their way back to Jackson, ahead of clickers that just arrived in the area " but it was likely Ellie and Dina out on patrol during the start of the game. They were not trying to get back to Jackson, but are out clearing the area and checking the perimeter around Jackson. The scene with the different guitar is actually from a scene in Seattle, a little while into the game. Ellie picks up and plays a random guitar and not the specific guitar shown. He also said that the scene of Abby crawling was "Abby saving Joel". Definitely not. Abby is trying to run for her life, not save Joel. The scene with Isaac and the Seraphite, that is definitely not Lev. Lev is a child. That was an adult, and likely the same one we see Isaac with in the second half of the game. He also keeps referring to the infected as "clickers", and the clicker is just one stage of infection. It looks like most of what we see in this trailer are runners and stalkers. Earlier stages of infection. It's also not clear that the Seraphites are specifically tied to Christianity, but point taken. I will say that as well as having themes of revenge, vengeance and justice, there are also themes of forgiveness and growth after trauma.. but I guess those are all connected. It's unlikely we're seeing the Rattlers, it seems more likely that we're seeing Jackson as it is more snow covered.

Am i mistaken... Or are we getting a season between part 1 and part 2?? Where this season will most likely end when the part 2 story begins. That's what it looks like to me. Which is great!! I was hoping they wouldn't rush the series. If true, we're going to see the flashbacks from part 2 as they actually happen. I have a feeling we'll have 4 seasons by the time the series is caught up with the games. Breaking up part 2 into seasons 3 & 4.

There is the scene of Joel saving Abby from the infected which leads directly to her killing him. There's the scene of Ellie playing guitar for Dina, the Scars and Issac all which take place in Seattle after Joel is dead. They are following the game with small changes like the therapist but the timeline of events looks the same. No in between season.

It is more likely that Part II will be stretched into 2 seasons of the show. If they follow the game's way of storytelling, Ellie's part will season 2, while Abby's and the finale in season 3.

I feel that moment that we see the horde of infected, it's also a new additional scene that explains how Joel and Abby cross paths, which was an unexplained moment in the game. So it's isn't Jackson but an explanation of that moment before we see Abby under the fence.

I’m so excited for season 2 because the plot of part 2 is so much more complicated and ambitious than pt1, and the way Naughty Dog chose to pace and structure the story feels so specific to a video game with how its manipulating your feelings & perception in any given moment. I think that being Lev and Ellie pregnant are possible changes from the show, but pretty unlikely. How would Ellie fight through everything if she's pregnant? Abby could save Lev from captivity but her being with Lev is what helps her grow to point where she would directly go against Isaac.
