There were a lot of scary moments from "Doug". The episode "Doug On His Own" was scary. He and Porkchop watch a horror movie on TV where an evil house eats people. Later they go down into the dark basement, and Doug imagines the stuff in the basement coming to life--turning into monsters. Then there's the episode "Doug's Nightmare On Jumbo Street" where Doug goes to see a horror movie about a shape-shifting monster called The Abnormal. He has nightmares about The Abnormal coming after him, Skeeter, and his family. In one nightmare The Abnormal actually KILLS Skeeter!

I was one of those parents that let my grade school kids watch REN and Stimpy. I loved that show and knew it was questionable, but was the perfect weird and creepy and funny in such a new way for “cartoons” at that time. The first one we saw was the tooth fairy, rotting teeth and “ nerve endings”. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing! We couldn’t look away! We still mimic “ Call the police “- remember that episode? Sven is Ren's cousin (full name Sven Hoek), not Stimpy's (you'd know that if you actually watched the episode instead of watching short clips). Also, the other Ren&Stimpy clip you used at 10:35 was from the Spiketv version that was for the old fans that were adults at the time it aired (there's even nudity in certain episodes). If you really wanted a bummer episode of Ren & Stimpy to use you should have mentioned the episode called "haunted house" which features a ghost that commits suicide with a bottle of poison because he can't properly scare Ren or Stimpy.
