This video is an introduction on how to sign up for a membership to my new web application the Max Chroma ScreenTone Pro 9001, as well as some ways to get started using it to convert images into various colors and interlocking halftone patterns in real-time with all kinds of possibilities in controlling various settings, and how to save the images and also work with them in another program I've started building called Separation Station.

Hey Bryan, I keep coming back to those designs you sent me a while ago actually, was thinking of doing some videos with them in the new app here and bringing over to photoshop... I saw you signed up and I set you up with the full access.. you may need to log out and back in to get it to load the page with the links. I'm working on a new video to show the way I already updated it with some better controls for the halftone contrast and to start off with the full resolution of the image, its almost too fun too work with images and art in this tool now I've got to stop and remember to make some videos lol. Let me know if you have any questions. I think it works best if you have a GPU and webGL capable browser, preferrably chrome, and also a good CPU , all of the image processing is handled on the computer and nothing is sent to the web app really just processed by the webgl or javascript functions using the local hardware. I have a lot more things on the way!

This is really, really cool! And super cool that you made this. I'm going to create an account and try some things! What I just don't quite understand yet, how do you set the size of the image and is there a way to see at the pixelate setting which corresponding LPI belongs to it? Maybe I didn't quite understand ;) Really cool that you make these things! Thanks for that!

I'll be showing in some new videos how to make approximations and determine what LPI you are getting from the results... but these are definitely features I want to make more simple in the modifications of this app so we can just choose the size of the image in pixels, inches/centimeters and a resolution, then have the halftone patterns sizing be chosen with LPI settings for the ordered halftone types. There are lots of features and ideas and modifications I want to continue to make to get this program more and more customized as a full halftone conversion and separation app... but currently I'm showing the stage of progress where it is at currently and how to use it already as I felt it was just too amazing to keep testing in my own and not sharing it or making it available. I decided it would still take a lot of time for me to make all the other mods and features I want it to have, but its already fully capable of doing separation and halftoning at such an advanced level and makes it so simple that I just had to get it ready enough to start showing and using and then continue to improve upon it from there. Yep I've been deep in the lab cooking up all these new potions, after finding all of these things I could start working with and then learning a lot of new programming methods I can finally start to build some stuff that works the way I really want it to. If you want to sign up to the free membership subscription then I'll give you the 6 months or so access to the full site to start trying it out, based on the things you purchased already. The tools really work together, there is an updated action set for the Photo-Tessellator with the Index-to-Layers actions that can also split up these halftone images after working with them in the web app. I'll be doing new videos often now, I've just been really wanting to have this ready so I can show examples using all of the different tools including this new app. I'm really excited now to show off what it can do, I've been having enough fun testing things out and building and pushing the limits of it to the best of my abilities for long enough now its time to unleash the dragon!
