This video shows how to download and install the new updates to the Photo-Tessellator 2022 with the action Version 1.8 and the Max Chroma Color Blender Plugin. The Tessellator actions now have a version that works in Photoshop CS6 and CC 14.
In the video I go into some concepts about artwork types like primary full-color blend artwork and custom-color types of artwork. I go into how the various sections of actions in the set work with an image to convert it into different types of halftone color separations and how to work with the results.
This is only the beginning of a whole new series of videos showing examples of the Photo-Tessellator on different types of images and how and when to use each of the actions in the set, and how it all works in further detail.

Max, I've been using the Photo-Tessellator Sharp and Soft with the Fast Index to Layers for months now, and it is incredible. I'm not a screen printer, but an Art Director and Designer, and I use these actions to both prep the design for a printer, and/or purely for visual effect. Incredible actions, thank you for sharing. I looked for techniques on how to do this for years and stumbled upon your channel. Game changer. Thank you Sir!

I love to hear about the different ways people are using the products, and it really means a lot to me that you took the time to share your experience. I think you're going to be really excited about this new update I've put online, since you've purchased the Photo-Tessellator actions already, you can now get the ScreenTone Pro 9001 Desktop PC version as a FREE Upgrade. I think I mentioned something like that in some previous videos about the Photo-Tessellator, and since I've got some new updates to the ScreenTone software which goes even further beyond the capabilities of it last year, and I now have an offline version of the app, I've decided to make the original version (ScreenTone Pro 9001) as the "free upgrade" to Photo-Tessellator. I'm grateful to be able to serve the experience I've gained in ways that others can gain from it, and I really can't wait to start showing things like printing films, making screens, and all sorts of fun stuff with inks and bringing it all to press with a squeegee in my hands, I love the entire process as it is such a wonderful hybrid of advanced science and artistic expression. Please feel free to give me any feedback or constructive criticism you can think of. I know I should be trying to make some 3 minute, 5 minute, 10-minute videos that maybe just focus on one thing at a time, but once I open up the tap from my brain it all just starts to flow out and I do these videos in just 1 take, only editing out parts where a cat or a random noise interrupts the audio or my focus, I pause it, then resume and do a hand-clap to mark the spot in the audio/video timeline and just trim that part out in the final edit, and just put a little audio enhancements in to level it out. I try to remember to explain every little thing that my hands are clicking or typing, but I'm sure that at times maybe I'm going too fast or zipping around the screen a bit too quickly. Should I add those things like a circle around the mouse-cursor, or try adding zoom-ins to the focus of what I'm doing? These instructional videos for the various files and actions are meant to cover a lot of ground, but I suppose I could try and just do 1 button at a time instead of going through a whole section?
