You'll be amazed at how simple it can be actually... I'm working on making a preset system to save the settings all as presets, but there is also a feature built into the developer mode of Chrome and other browsers that allows you to record the browser as you're using it, and then you can save and load various settings like they are presets just as scripts. Another feature I want to add is the ability to eyedrop the colors from the original image, but I've also found an extension for chrome or firefox called ColorZilla that allows you to sample any color at any time, then you can copy/paste it into the color picker hex code. There are obviously an infinite number of ways to use this program artistically for converting images into all sorts of fun color and halftoning variations... but for using it professionally for specific color separation methods and halftones, high resolution and converting into films for output, I want it to be very easy and simple to do either advanced high-end separations or custom-color artistic halftone art. As I show more examples and the printing, also how you can do this directly from a smart-phone without using photoshop, then I will start to get more into all the details... but I want to show how fast and simple and easy it can really be to go directly from image to screens on press in a matter of a few minutes with some basic steps and settings. Since it is real-time and instantaneous or editiable non-destructive separations, we can save our settings and record the presets and then you know any time you do a similar color set you can just reuse the same settings... The hard part is now preventing yourself from having too much fun with all the possibilities, lol!
