Screw these Brakes! They are Junk!

if you been following along you know we been working on these brakes. Something that should be so simple but with our luck they are being a pain in the..... we try and start over with no luck!

I got the same brake master cylinder couldn't get it to bleed finally adjusted the rod in between brake pedal and master cylinder and fixed it.. yall keep up the videos one of my favorite channels...

Our problem ended up being the rear e-brake needed to be adjusted. Thanks man we appreciate that!🤙

Before you buy a new master cylinder. Try heating up the master. (Warm up the seals inside the cylinder). Just be careful not to boil the fluid out and create more air. But See if they swell and get your pedal back.

"This is the same video three weeks in a row........Yeah like and subscribe!" I wish I could work on this truck with yall, but to be honest. We wouldn't get nothing done, just be laughin our ass off the whole time. I had these exact same problems on my 63 C10. Went through three master cylinders. Didn't have any help so I had to buy the pneumatic bleeder off amazon. Bili Tools. It works awesome as long as you have a decent air compressor to maintain 90-100 psi. First few times I did it, I had that rubber nozzle horizontal (parallel to the ground) kept getting air bubbles. Then had to add the o-rings to the bleeders and replace some wheel cylinders. (The Rubber seals were leaking air). But I am glad to know I am not the only one with these brake problems. Took me three weeks to get a pedal back and like $40 of fluid! LOL

🤣 Thanks brother! It seems like we had the air out, it was just fluid the last 3 or 4 times we bled it. Hope we don’t have to buy a bleeder I’m running out of room in my garage!🤣🤙

Go to your local junkyard and get another master cylinder and lines to proportion valve and just leave them together,don’t take it apart. Then install in your truck to see if that’s it. I honestly never bled one like yall doing. I always cross bled front left back right front right back left till they worked. In an 80 elcamino with raybestos pads, it would stop on a dime and give you 9 cents back!!!lol anyway yall always put a smile on my face!!😂😅 junkyard time brothers!!! Smoke some for me hahahahahaha

We’ve always started with the furthest from the master and worked up to it, now all the contraptions we done did is just extra, just to make sure we had the air out. I’ve never had so much trouble bleeding brakes. 🤣 Thanks man!🤙

I had same problem bought new master still no brakes but them rear calipers are the problem if it's like mine

I think y'alls rear brakes are the same as the ones we bought and we was having hell but I finally pull the e brake deals on the rear caliper pumped them at the same time and finally got good brakes after bleed but what was happening was the rear wound bleed back off as soon as u let off the pedal e brake kept it from bleeding off if that makes any sense

Is the ebrake caliper on the truck? If it is, is it tied into the other lines or sharing the master? I ask because i dont remember seeing a seperate master OR the actual e-brake setup. Dunno, minds kinda wandering around what else it could be! Yes im 4 months behind, im sure yall figured it out but im catching up! Went without a phone for a spell. Trying to catch up god diggidty dangit! Ps my S10 decided to woller out the ball joint holes in the lower control arms. Good news is it only took me going thru a new center section, inner/outer tie rods+billet adjustment sleeves, a lower steering shaft and rebuilt borgeson steering gearbox, new pitman, new idler,sway bar bushings and upper ball joints before i found the "wobble" culprit in the lower control arms yesterday.. didnt replace them lol. Thats a NEXT weekend deal! But I DID put new larger bolts and lock washers on them to hold for the week lol😅😅😅😂

It has manual cable operated e-brake and ended up having to adjust the e-brake on the calipers and they were fine! Well at least you have all new front end now... It's like that sometimes! lol

@@Catheysoutdoors2949 I been watching them a couple years now, big daddy’s oldest son does the airbrush work and like’s building engine’s. The youngest likes trying different stuff and then the elder in the group help figure it out,it’s a great team effort. If you haven’t been in a jam, you not taken the risk of moving forward. Knowledgeable people always prevail on top in such situations like , bad rear brake cylinder seal’s . They let air in, but don’t leak fluid out so very hard to tell what’s really going on. I figured the freezing cold weather would have shown a leak by now, strange I say, lol
