Surprised that no one has mentioned it, but that curve is actually known in DFW as "Dead Man's Curve". Also it should be mentioned that there are plans to "defreeway" that area into a landscaped boulevard and have a proper connection to I-45 built.

I'm glad you made note of the unsigned Interstate 345 since very few people know about it. Also, I noticed that they never changed the overhead signs on 175 that let you know the exit for US 75. They still say Sherman, but on other roads, such as Woodall Rogers, they signs for 75 note McKinney as the control city. Nice song on the video, too!

That part of the narrow section of freeway of US 175 starting at 2:35, that's how I-27 is in Amarillo, TX starting from exit 120 to the I-40 Interchange

many have actually died there. Cars usually bounce off of it and end up in the yards to the right after the curve. Very scary.

correct, its around 2:35 . Many times, cars have slammed into it at high speed and bounced into yards and even into houses on the right side of the freeway.

I live in Crandall you can see where’s the little town rigth at 0:14 at very bottom rigth corner of the screen and we pass thru that section of 175 when we what to go to the down town area or anything east of dallas

I've heard that the sharp 25 MPH curve at 2:36 is the most accident prone curve in the entire state of Texas, or at least in the Metroplex. I knew it was sharp, but never *that* sharp of a curve.

Are you referring to 2:35? Man, just from the video, I am surprised that they designed the curve in such way. Will keep in mind when I visit Dallas

It is highly unlikely a out of towner will occasion to find himself out that way. That is the boondockiest section of the metro area, home to auto salvage yards, low end car lots, and mom and pop junk shops and the like.

I pass there twice a month and that is true it has the oldest looking houses in the metroplex
