Good evening. I just want to say how much I love watching your KZbin videos. I am a retired veteran who never had the chance to go to high school. I am 38 years old and with my disability through the years of the military it has made going back to school so much harder than what it should be. I wrote my first essay ever a few weeks ago. And even though I need a lot of work and help in my writing. Thanks to you and how you broke it all down for me to learn. I was able to do my introduction, thesis , body and closing paragraphs. I am very proud because with your help I was able to make an 85. It was one of the hardest things I had to do in college. Especially since I never had that opportunity to go to high school and learn all these things I am so behind on. When were in high school my English teacher always requires essay in every topic in English we would encounter. Base on my stock knowledge, essay has three basic parts: introduction that aims to give the reader what is the essay all about, body it's typically about facts or anything that has anything to with the introduction part and lastly conclusion which aims to summarize all the parts of essay sometimes it may include your opinion or anything. I'm not good at writing essays but I have enough knowledge about it. Also, I find writing essays hard especially if it's in English which is my second language. Nevertheless, I sometimes find writing essays interesting.

Such a great explanation! When I reading a text that containing hooks, it looks easy if I make it. But when I want to make it, it turned out to be hard to do. In making a hook, I have to understand the choice of the right words to make it more interesting. That's my problem.
