This is a tutorial vid for installing and using pluot's dmrcreate with framestep to convert text file scripts into dummy replay files for MBAACC's training mode.
The main advantages of this over other input scripting tools is that this method effectively operates in frames for timing, as opposed to milliseconds when doing inputs. So an input will always happen at a specific frame, unlike ms timings where the input could happen at one frame or another depending on when in the frame window you run the script. In other words, it makes strict, 1 frame input sequences consistent and stable, when you actually run the script to test if something works.
Using this tool in conjunction with framestep's frame advance functionality can drastically speed up testing combo elements, and getting a full combo dummy recorded so that you can then record the combo for video editing. For me, it cuts down combo development from around 2-3 months, to about a single 8 hour day per combo, on average.
Enjoy. Feel free to ask questions.
