Honestly, I envy people who stay the same size so much. My weight also fluctuates so I hang on to sentimental pieces that don't even fit me anymore way too long. Also I always felt like I _had_ to hold on to things in case I got bigger/slimmer again and would need another wardrobe. The latter point has gotten better though since I started thrifting and I know I can just rebuild a wardrobe without breaking the bank :)

Same here! I bounce between a medium an an xl a lot so I've been slowly replacing a lot of my clothes with timeless pieces that have a lot of give. Sturdy fabrics with elastic or that tie, it's already saved me a ton of money.

I originally found your channel through one of your closet cleanouts and stayed for everything else because of your humour and personality. My rule with clothes that dont currently fit me but might again (because of weight fluctuations) is I have one medium sized box that I keep tucked away and all the clothes that don't quite fit but I want to keep go in there and stored away so i don't have to think about them or have them cluttering up my wardrobe, but I still have my favourite pieces for if i do loose or gain weight again. And my self-imposed rule is I cant keep more than fits in that one box.

I wanted to do something in my house for months but kept putting it off. Weirdly, I did everything BUT that thing I really wanted to do but this video actually gave me the motivation to finally get it done. Tip for mould in showers - gel toilet cleaner. Add to rolled up paper towels and place on areas over night. Rinse

If your weight fluctuates you could always store other sizes in a stackable bin and put it on that top shelf. That way you have the clothes when you need them but they aren’t taking up valuable hanging space and this way you are sending less clothes to the donation centers and ultimately the landfill when they are unable to sell them or unable to process them.

In you bathroom with the cubbies that should have been drawers, put clear containers in the cubby and all you loose items in there so you can pull out the entire container, use what you need and then just slide the container back (like a makeshift drawer) 😊 also helps to keep it fairly tidy... PS saves this video for a day when I knew I'll need to sort out my studio, nice to have company 😅

I got a cheap electric cleaning brush for my bathroom walls and I use dish soap. It removes all the yellow soap residue and black mold

For tiny tops that are cumbersome to put on and off the hangers, get one of those tiered pants hangers with clips, so that you can just clip them on and hang like 4 at one time. It’s my favorite for smaller tops

With clothing it’s best to organise by sleeve length, then thickness and where possible in colours. ie. halter necks, tshirts, longsleeves, jumpers, jackets. Also storage cubes will help loads to organise and neaten everything up ✨

for the bathroom deep shelves, there are rails to make pull out drawers, which I've see mostly in the kitchen and I don't know if it would fit these spaces, but it could be a nice idea so you don't have to kneel to reach in the back or just loose useful space.

I sometimes take the pant legs to my overalls and fold them upward onto and over the bottom part of the hanger (fold them in half essentially). That way, they aren't long, but you can still see them.

Honestly if you ever want to really blast your shower clean - Comet powder cleaner is like vinegar mixture on steroids. Our shower has these awful built-in shelves that collect mold and we have hard water as well, and Comet does absolute wonders!!
