Scrolling panorama of Neart Na Gaoithe offshore windfarm viewed from Dundee Law. There was some amazing visibility last week so from the top of the Law you could see this offshore windfarm under construction and its support vessels off the coast of Fife.
Neart na Gaoithe (NNG) is an offshore wind farm 15.5 km off the coast of Fife. It comprises of 54 turbines which can generate 450 MW or enough for 375,000 homes. The electricity will be transported by undersea cable to Dunbar. The base of operations for the completed project will be at the Port of Eyemouth.
