I love the regular size Scrubba. I have the old squeeze valve version I bought end of 2016. The twist valve was released 2017. That one has worked great in Spain, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia for me and quicker than sink washing. The scrubbing nubs worked on my muddy cargo pants when I first bought it, that's when I knew it was a keeper. Squeeze valve starting to stick and hard to open so I just upgraded this year to the twist valve during their Kickstarter for the white one. Tried it out at home and like it better. Time will tell how the twist valve holds up over time.

Great to hear thanks for that. The white dye-less one does look great. I might try and check that one out later

I haven't actually traveled with it yet due to Covid restrictions. But like many products I try it out when I receive them just to make sure there are no defects. Especially if it will be a while before I put it to regular use.

@@LB-ou8py how's that valve holding up?
@LB-ou8py9 ай бұрын
@@Juice10x it still sticks a lot from past soap residue but it's still holding up. I travel with it plus the white one still waiting for the valve to break as it gets harder and harder to open.

The little nubs for scrubbing is a useful feature but the valve isn't needed at all -as you said, just open the bag then re-roll. I used a regular dry-bag and it worked just fine with underwear, t-shirts, and socks.

Yeah, I feel like carrying a lightweight noduled mat or something similar and keeping it in a regular dry bag would work just as well
@jackolantern73423 жыл бұрын
@@PackingLess Yup. Also, if the item is so dirty as to require nubs for agitation then maybe a good "pre-rinse" in the shower is in order :)

I've tried the original sized Scrubba. Just too much hassle for me. I have always been able to find some sort of small receptacle to wash clothes during travels. I've washed in a sink, an ice bucket, a large bowl, a pan, a coffee can, and a couple times just using a hose and a surface.

Thanks for sharing! I usually carry my toiletries in a dry bag anyway, so that works for me. But I've heard people washing their clothes in the shower too

hows the valve holding up?

Same. Only used it a handful of times, but the valve seems to hold up okay

Seems too much trouble and time using the bag when it would be quicker and more effective to find running water. To wring out the clothes, try opening out a towel lengthways, roll up the towel with the wet clothes spaced evenly inside, twist the towel from both ends - far more effective!.
@PackingLess3 жыл бұрын
Yes usually I do that with the towel but this was just an unplanned quick demo

Your mind was already made up before you even used the bag.

While I do try to not have any bias, the scrubba did break on first use which doesnt inspire confidence.
