Are you able to switch the ratio from 4:3 to 16:9? It just seems way too narrow of a ratio.

How do you keep the app recording without opening it in your phone?

When the camera is on, it is constantly recording and saving to the internal memory in the camera. The app is used to preview and download the videos that are on the camera. So you don't need to have the app open when you are driving. Just when something happened and you want to download a video off the camera, or change settings, etc.

careful with GPS dash cams. your speed is evidence against you.

Haha, very true. I do think I’m a better driver with the dash cam because I know I’m being recorded 😂
