I have two question. How is scrum master measure the risk in project?. And agile how plan the budget for a particular project.

Risks to the sprint goal, should be discussed in sprint planning and daily scrum and get tracked on daily kanban board or somewhere visually. Risks beyond the Sprint may get discussed in Sprint Review and Retrospective, and these risks may impact the product backlog, items added or sequenced as per risks. Budgets in general at capacity based like we can deploy this team for six months. Budgets are not directly based on project scope since scope is emerging.

thank you for doing such sessions : I have a doubt to clear - many times the interviewer might not be agile adept and ask vague questions which go outside of agile way of doing things, if the interviewer asks whether as a Scrum Master I have experience in writing user stories, creating Epics, breaking them down to Features and PBIs? my dilemma is how should I answer??. should I correct the interviewer or should I answer yes?

Hi, I have an interview for scrum master role in a team for digital and growth marketing. Can you please suggest how scrum differs for such teams?

Scrum as a framework is good starting point the content and future adaption depend on where we implement, so you can say they will have a special type of Product Backlog Items and the Definition of Done will also be different. I suggest doing some research on possible backlog items and DoD can help you in getting ready for discussion, so make list of possible Product Backlog Items and DoD just to set your mindset for the context, rest be flexible and open in conversation.

How to prepare for CSM certification.Also if someone wants to start career in program management is CSM is the best choice or which all certification should we think of.

Doing CSM certification is very easy, it only involves attending two days of class followed by simple exam. You can find our upcoming classes here : www.izenbridge.com/certified-scrum-master/ Now does CSM helps in Program Management, if this is in context of Agile ways of working than yes, but if the program management is done in general than you may need to look other programs. CSM is good starting point for any leadership role one looking in agile way of working.

@@izenbridge Actually I just started giving interview of SM and not well prepared and aware about such type of question.. But I said for me all scrum events are equally essential to achieve sprint goal.I can't say which one is less or more important.

I think this is a good and many time common question for any role, and generally person want to understand how the interviewee sees his/her role and how clear the person is on value addition. In case of SM, it goes mainly around creating self organizing team and removing impediments. Making the team agile to meet changing business needs.
