It's actually 4 wrecks. Nakaya is sunk at Porteau Cove as an artifical reef, it's off to the east. The surface marker was cast away due to the advanced nature of the deterioration of the wreck. Advanced divers can still go see it if they know where to look. There's an old Porteau map that shows it's location.

Yeah Porteau has a lot to offer! That’s great, I actually heard there was a recent sighting of the aurora borealis The beams were actually donated by BC Ferries in the 90s!
