i wish that they would come out with some more advanced controlers for designers..maybe in cooperation with wacom or other companies which are specialised in artist tools. some gloves or pen controlers with shortcut options, good ergonomics and very precise tracking. working with the controllers feel a little bit like digital painting with the mouse.

Imagine what you could make if Gravity Sketch, Pixologic, Quixel and Unreal Engine 5 all worked together. If movie companies can combine, why not software companies?

I'm new to gravity sketch and you're the first creator that's left handed like myself. Looking forward to seeing and learning more.

Hi Glen, I just wanted to thank you for your help getting to know GS. I always had trouble understanding Blender but with GS and you, it’s all starting to make sense. Cheers Pete

Which do you prefer between this and Medium? I find I struggle with Medium somehow, it's just too imprecise, but I see that a lot of people prefer it. I haven't done a lot of traditional 3D work, but I come from Blender and this just seems to click with me more. Medium also creates a very messy mesh, and I feel you'd be doing less work if you started from Gravity Sketch as the topology fixes would be smaller.

ohh my friend that a bit question but an awesome one. I feel like I need to make a video to answer it. Medium is Voxel based and as you say exports a very messy polygon mesh from the Voxel model you create. It is hard to get nice surface detailing in Medium without a lot of work but the ability to bash out the Voxel shapes is ground breaking. I have used it commercial for years now and lot of our bigger models start in Medium for that reason. Forger (and similar) are like junior versions of ZBrush and the tools are very similar. To make a full character in Forger would take me 5 times longer than medium but the finish would be better. Gravity Sketch is something entirely different and up until last autumn it was pretty much a CAD tool. With the inclusion of Sub Division surfaces it became a very unique tool and has no real competitor yet (with regard to that specific toolset). Again, we use it extensively but we switch from Medium to GS as needed.

@@SouthernGFX Gotcha, thank you for this very good answer. And if you wind up making a video about this I'd certainly watch it.

Missleading title - this is not a SCULPTING. its just a modeling. Gravity sketch has no sculpting mode like blender its just a EDIT mode on point/face/edges. anyway i imported my character As OBJ to gravity sketch , and when im try to use it back after import , i have difference in VERTICES i created shape key for my character (zero new verts) but blender after import adding some verts. Oryginal Mesh was 14600 , after import to blender with no modyfications i have over 15000 verts. Any ideas?

Does it also feature sculpting?
