It has truly been a journey. I've been sculpting and refining scales for days, slowly descending into madness.
I'm only joking, I love the challenges that come with traditional art and seeing matter take form.

@@CraftyArt It's a very nice sentiment, though I disagree,, it's true that almost anyone can create something with enough practice and Deep desire There are a select few people who were born with an ability or a knack to create art and it comes with much less effort than someone not born with this talent. I know this from the fact I have always been cursed with the desire and have put in hours of practiced techniques in my life and yet without that natural talent the best I can do is passable or pretty good to an untrained eye but never great art no matter how much passion I have to create.

It's hard to say, I've been working on it on and off. Altogether it took me probably 2-3 weeks to sculpt and paint, and to put the video together another 2 weeks probably. It's important not to rush it and to take time off so when you get back to it you see it with fresh eyes, and you can see the mistakes more clearly.

That's one heck of a knack for dragons you have! I liked your earlier dragon video and how you made them such distinct types but still clearly dragons.This guy came out so lifelike and detailed you half expect to see him blink and sniff at you. Spectacular sculpting indeed

What kind of clay is used? Maybe it's more reflective of my skill but I always accidentally change the shape of it or get scratches in it because it is so soft. This clay seems way more stable
