I've gotta say, I'm really loving the the distorted guitar as opposed to what I assume is a synth on the album. It really gives a crazy boost to the energy of the song. The mix you have here as well really I feel brings out the composition of the music.

Love this song! I think that now on this album the guitars are more present than they were on TBH&C. Unfortunately, the bass guitar is the one that has a secondary role. It's the only thing I like less about this record. In general, I'm loving this album alot!

I’m not really liking this album. What worked with TBHAC was how the vocals actually had a role and complimented the song, but with this album it’s just Alex Turner monologuing some pretentious poetry over a repetitive backing track for like 5 minutes

@@garmen- that's the point and i feel like sometimes it's more like the strings and Turner's voice. In TBHC piano,bass,voice and guitars formed a compact sound after all.

Glad you agree I loved both. I think there's a big sub sect of the fans that long for the old days. The guys are alot older and have a lot of different influences. What's clear is that they are doing what they've allways done and that's nake the music that they want to make
